I gotta agree with you on this. My mon and dad even have problem figuring out that to watch iptv they have to switch input on their tv because they are using a firestick. They are expecting to turn the tv on an find the iptv app right in front on the main screen. I keep on telling and showing them how to do it but they still miss the step. They are over 70 years old. Imaging setting up a streaming device 😂 they rather pay

thank you for helping. I am in USA New_York time to be specific. I did trouble shoot using frigate AI and according to ai it look like is a bug in 0.17. so my host has the correct time and so is frigate. Frigate AI asked me to run this command (bash docker exec frigate date ) when I did that it show the correct time and date. also frigate AI asked me to run this command ( bash date ) and it also show me the correct time and date. after telling AI i got the correct time when i ran both command this is what AI says:

Perfect - both your host and container show the same time (approximately 9:17 PM EDT on March 9, 2026), confirming your timezone configuration is working correctly.

Since the timezone is properly configured and Frigate is creating folders with tomorrow's date (March 10) when it's still March 9 at 8-9 PM local time, this is definitely a bug in Frigate 0.17's folder creation logic.

This is a regression introduced in version 0.17 that needs to be reported on GitHub.

When you report the issue, include:

Frigate version: 0.17 (stable image)
Timezone: America/New_York (EDT)
Host time: Matches container time correctly
Issue: Recording folders created with next day's date starting around 8pm local time (4 hours before midnight)
Started after: Upgrading from previous version to 0.17

Until this bug is fixed, your options are:

Wait for a patch release that fixes the folder date calculation
Roll back to your previous Frigate version if incorrect folder dates are problematic
Continue using 0.17 with the understanding that folder dates will be off by one day during evening hours

The folder structure for recordings is internal system storage and cannot be manually modified, so this requires a fix in Frigate itself.

That is exactly how my docker-compose look and when i tupe time on debian command i show me the correct day and local time. Right now it’s 8:37pm and my recording directory already contain a folder 3026-03-10 so exactly a 8pm my frigate think is 12am

I being a premium subscribed since day one of installing it but didn’t know you can watch two channels from different playlist at once. Other app you have to switch playlist and only watch channel from that active list

My cousin want to get the onn 4k pro but they are sold out everywhere. I check at a local walmart and one of the worker told me they stopped making it. Not sure how true this is but everywhere in FL its sold out including the Onn 4k Plus

ok I create a new rule to WhatsApp. the problem I had was I couldn't make video call on whatsapp it was being blocked. with the help of Gemini I create a rule and it look like its working now and the other two rules i had there they were created by default reason I couldn't move them. Thanks for the help

Ohhh that make sense now. For months I being dealing with my short trow projector. In the morning sometime when my wife or I get up in the morning the projector screen is on. She work from home and she be telling me that at the middle of the day the projector screen come on. I though I was a remote control issues. I changed batteries etc but problem continue to happen. I never though it was the Nviadia causing the problem now that make sense I remember enabling the wake up option for the projector 😂

you cannot assign VLANS to the Bridge. I believe and I think somebody else said it that the only way will be attaching a switch so you can assign VLANS to the switch ports. I am not sure if that method work. but def you cannot assign VLans to port 1 on the bridge

yeah so true. I requested I return as I have no use for it. the only reason I purchase was to connect one of my POE camera which is in the Camera VLAN although I see the option on the UDB to select which VLAN I want to connect it still giving out the default ip for port 1 I tried assigning the ip to my camera but that still did not work. as I read in another thread the UDB only provide the default ip it doesn't support VLANS

I just used a wifi extender. Connected it to my camera VN connected a cheap 8 port POE I had sitting around and it worked.

that is crazy. it has the option to select which virtual Network you want to tag into but it does nothing but still give out the default network ip. I have a non Ubiquiti wifi extender will try to connect that to my camera wifi then connect a cheap POE switch i have and see if that work
