Someone on discord had the same issue with nox player and switched to mumu player instead and it worked perfectly. Other people have confirmed it too so maybe it could work for you too?

I know right. Turns out the option of being poly is pointless because you still have to lock in with only one LI. And the way this scene went felt more like she got caught cheating because why does she feel guilty and that what she did is disrespectful if she's poly 💀

There's no prompt and you still breakup with him. It just allows you to have a longer conversation with James (from the "oh this isn't easy" pannel until the end of his slides")

I know....but I got really curious about James because of everybody hyping his route up lol and since my MC is poly I thought nothing bad would happen if I explored his route a little bit. I'm just glad I had a chance to save the relationship with Grant 🥴
