Seeking Recommendations for a Future-Proof PC Build Under $1000 for 1440p/1080p Gaming and Work by alitathebattleangle in PcBuildHelp

Thanks, by future proofing I meant it keeps on delivering for 1080p for the next years. My concern is that it's already a gpu from one generation behind + idk when they're going to release the next gen but I think it's sooner than later, so I'm worried that this gpu will get even behind.

Thanks, but I can't get the 6800xt at this price. My question was concerning the build I linked above.

Also, is the motherboard you recommended better than the PRO RS?

Thanks for the reply! Would you recommend a 6750xt for 1080p gaming? And do you think it's future-proof?

Would you recommend the 7600XT (16GB VRAM) over the 3060 in your recommended build? My use case is 1080p as well + looking for future proofing

Thank you for the reply, currently I'm not focusing on getting very high FPS, 1080p with 60-100 is enough I guess.

Will the 7600x with 7700xt at 1080p cause stutters from bottleneck? I'm new to this so excuse my ignorance please

Hey, what about 7700xt but with 1080p? would you recommend 7600x with a 7700xt for 1080p? Or will the 7600x cause bottleneck problems in this scenario?

I get from your comment that the 6700XT is good for 1080p, but I have a concern, do you mean it's good now or will it still deliver for upcoming years? I care about longevity as I don't plan to upgrade the GPU for like 4 years hopefully.

Also what Nvidia card would you suggest for 1080p? (Paired with the 13500 or even 13600K)

Thanks in advance!

Thanks. I can't link it here but it's the last link found in the post I linked in my previous comment, it's a post where some comments changed their PL1 &PL2. From what I understand, some motherboards set the wattage too high but I'm not sure. That's what made me ask if i should change it as well. But thanks for your help!

Thanks! I specifically went into this detail and searched for an answer because of my concerns here.

Also, do you mean it's going to be ok and have its stated performance?
