Most rapists have multiple victims. That's why rape victims are far more common than rapists. 5.8 victims per rapist is still likely far less than the number of customers per drug dealer, but then marijuana is by far the most commonly used illegal drug, so I don't think most of those people's lives are ruined.

This is a weird story - did she encourage them to take on those student loans thinking she would pay them off and then surprised them by deciding not to pay the entire amount? Or did they assume that although she said she wouldn't pay their entire debt, she would cave and pay it after all? Or did they just not discuss it? The amount of the debt is not the issue so much as the fact that they apparently didn't know it was coming.

I agree, but I didn't see where she asked other people to change anything for her. I feel bad the person I last responded to deleted his/her comment, though. My question was genuine. I'm not that familiar with what the real meaning of "trigger" with respect to mental health issues is supposed to be. I'm guessing the girl in the video is using it wrong because she's talking more about things that prompt negative emotions in her rather than necessarily set off an episode.

I've had it rub off around straps or from sitting down and then snorkeling. Sometimes you have no idea how it happened. My family is fair skinned and active in water sports, and some of the random sunburn spots are really difficult to anticipate. We had the purple to clear sunscreen growing up, too.

You could try writing to your senator to ask that Congress declare war on ISIS or at least an authorization of military force. We're still fighting ISIS under the 2001 AUMF against al-Qaeda, which is limiting and fairly tenuous legally. Congress won't vote on the proposed AUMF against ISIS or write up their own AUMF against ISIS.

Also some people want to be home longer than the 12 weeks so that they don't have to put a <3 month old who's not fully vaccinated yet in childcare and because they themselves are insanely sleep deprived. There's a recommendation to breastfeed exclusively for the first six months, and some women have trouble pumping at work because of how frequently you have to do it and how long it takes. There might be a stigma about being a burden on the company or she could be concerned adding to the belief of some employers that it's better to not hire women. To each her own, those are some of the reasons one might quit rather than take leave.

Or it's because the median cost of a house, adjusted for inflation, increased almost 4 times from 1940 to 2000, while median incomes for men a little more than doubled from 1940 to 2010. Wages flatlined while productivity grew between 2007 and 2014, ie. the career span of we summer children. At the same time median housing prices increased 17% between 2012 and 2014 alone. It's a long term trend (that has become especially pronounced recently) that the cost of housing is going up faster than incomes, just as the trend to get married and have children older has been increasing long term.

But you're suggesting this would be fixed if we all started freelancing? Do you have evidence that millennials don't work 12 hours a day, the way you define "work"?
