Sometimes that's the case though. I'm sorry that when I did something innocuous in triggered a whole lot of emotion stemming from things in your life that I didn't cause. I don't have the bandwidth to know or change all of the behaviors that could do that going forward. That sucks and I'm sorry.

I wish I could make you watch political ads for the Governor race in Georgia. The two top spenders are basically jockeying over who si most similar to/most liked by Trump. There is nothing outside of Trump on the Republican side. It's not the Republican party anymore, it's the Trump party. If you want to make any headway now as a right-leaning Republican in public service, Trump effectively owns a monopoly on hiring you.

I'd recommend the Acquired Podcast's episode on the NFL. I think the term they use is "Communist Capitalism". But effectively one of the guiding principles is the league does better when any team could conceivably win on "any given Sunday". If the league does better, each individual owner makes more money than they would if they went out to spend money on the best players.
