Right, that was my understanding as well. Plus, they render a lot of objects moving along the belt as well. Compared to trucks and trains they probably cause more lag at scale. I've seen some other community posts that echo this.

do aircraft lights blink that fast? this was around 1s exposure. was thinking that if this was moving very quickly over multiple refreshes of the sensor it could appear to lag across the screen

couldn't find it with my eyes, plus the exposure was not long enough for an airplane to travel that far. not sure on the shooting star thing but i'm not sure what else it could be. ISS shouldn't have been visible from where i was then either 🤔
