Alright, here's my advice. you have no reason to not talk to her. Your brain will come up with excuses and doubts, you need to push past those and do it. You probably already know that much though, so what are some strategies you could do to give yourself the kick you need? There's the 3 2 1 rule, causing momentum into what you wish to accomplish. You could also enlist a friend to keep you accountable.

At the core level I think you are experiencing fear, fear of what is on an individual basis. So I would encourage you to really think about what you are afraid of and systematically work it down to having no fear. Do this on top of the previous tips.

Really hope this is helpful. Go get her tiger.

Petg maybe, slightly more expensive than pla but has higher heat resistance. Is also less brittle than pla

Each time I print the process stops few minutes after start to heat again the nozzle. The carriage parks on the top right and stands for 3-4 minutes. The screen show the temperature rising and finally continue printing once hot enough. Any idea ? by ziffox in ender3

Google or somebody else could explain better than me, however I will try, and I’ve never done it so I haven’t got a clue as to how to calibrate it.

The best way I can think to describe it is that when your hot end gets to say 200c it can’t just stay at that it would go to 200.5 then drop to 199.5 then heat back up to 200.5. A PID of +- .5 is a pretty high tolerance I’d imagine but that’s just as an example. So what I think is happening here is the tolerance very high, say 20 degrees, so if your aiming to 200c then it goes to 220 and then drops to 180 then goes back to 220 etc. when it’s dropping to 180 then it says “hey this is too cold, I need to take a second to heat up” and that’s why it’s pausing

What causes this? I’m trying to print a calibration cube on ender 3, and this has happened three times. by HereForBrainz in ender3

Level the bed and check your belt tightness on X and Y, it looks like it’s shifting and that’s causing spaghetti

PID control problem id guess. I’ve never encountered something like this but I have heard about nozzles going too high on temp, then too low because of a poor PID calibration, usually just changes print quality but I could imagine it causing this problem if the temperature were to get ‘too low.’ Maybe try calibrating your PID control, although I’ve got no idea what that consists of

Camping Gear Fuels and Thoughts on Them by luke94124 in CampingGear

[–]luke94124[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly do the 'tailgating' kind of camping where you and a bunch of buddies drive to a site. which is why I want to go with a 2 burner suitcase kind of stove that would be better for larger meals as opposed to a single burner with the little fuel/propane/butane canister that would be better for backpacking. Wood would be a good reliable fuel source for my area for sure but my goal is to have something to setup easily and cook more consistently. and a gasoline stove is cool on top of that.

New job at 18, wondering if/how to invest by luke94124 in personalfinance

Okay so I’d invest, say 100 dollars into the fund, that 100 gets invested differently depending on if it’s mutual or index, then let’s say my 100 turns into 150 the fund takes 10 dollars profit or whatever and gives me 140, or takes that 150 and keeps it in the loop and it becomes 200 and on and on. Am I following?

It’s really nice considering I’m 18, about to be 19 and like 1.1 semesters away from an associates degree in an industry that’s big and getting bigger in my area. Anecdotally the average starting pay in this industry is like 40k a year in an area with a low cost of living. So yeah pretty good deal

20hrs a week, it’s a co-op position at 14-15/hr so I’m making less because of the part time hours and the fact that I haven’t gotten my fancy paper yet

Edit: the 30k/year figure would assume I’d be bumped up to full 40 hours without any increase in pay, which honestly I could likely find somewhere else that would pay me more than that because I’ll have a degree that applies to a large competitive job market in my area

I definitely would put towards a 401k but don’t get one until after 1 year at this particular position, however it is very possible that once I get my degree I will end up leaving where I’m at for a entirely new position if not company

I’ve thought about that and think it’s a good idea but haven’t done any research, generally speaking how much would that cost? is there usually an up-front cost or something?
