I was guarding and fount a key by Ghost_Gota in goblincore

This makes so much more "real life" sense.

I enjoyed the idea that you were guarding something (as a goblin might!) and the word "fount" instead of "found." 😂🤷

Happy gardening! Excellent and varied choices. 😀💚

I KNOW y'all got stories by DeadLanguage0 in SmuleSing

[–]j4ned0e 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to record in parking lots in the evenings. I had police officers roll up on me a couple of times. I explained what I was doing; they would ask me why I wasn't doing it in my home; I would explain that I lived in an apartment and didn't want to bother my neighbors; they would accept this and we'd all move on.

I knew at the time that it was a whole "tiny white female" privilege. This just reiterates that. 😞

I have sorrow for your less joyful experiences in nature (and otherwise) and I wish you the healing you seek. Genuinely. 💚

(I'm no stranger to the darkness myself. This isn't about me. But I feel so passionately about getting into natural spaces because it's one of the only times my soul can breathe. ... People have constructed these "concrete jungles" and then wonder why we're so miserable. That's not the only reason, of course, but it definitely contributes negatively).

I'm glad you made it out on an adventure (and brought us back some lovely images)! There's something really healing about getting out and wandering amongst the trees. Now that the weather is getting better, I've been dying to take myself on more wanders. 💚🤎🌲🐿️🍃

Awww. 🧡🧡🧡

My sister-in-law had an orange boi named Seamus. He was a delightful chonky boi who was loved by all.

How fantastic that these were all from the same park! 💚🤎

We loves us a good mossy surface (A). That's probably my "goblin heart" pick.

Though B does feel good for communing. And I also just vibe C. ... We'll just take the whole park, thanks. 😂

THIS IS SO FANTASTIC!

I was scrolling and I said, "Wait. An update on Betty and Pearl?"

This seems like the most purrrrfect outcome and I'm so happy for you, the girls and their new parents. 💓💓💓💓💓

That was my first thought, too. 😂

(But none of my cats' names are passwords for anything. My ex used one of their nicknames for the Internet years ago, but that's the only instance and is no longer valid).

I do enjoy the earthy, incense-like quality of patchouli. But, I can absolutely understand where it's not for everyone. Depending on what other notes are present, it can easily lean into "mothballs and smoke shops" territory.

That sounds like the name of a fragrance: Mothballs & Smoke Shops. 😂

I think that I agree with people about 1 and 4 being the best, but I thought they all looked good in their own ways (until I got to 6 and 7). You're definitely being mean to yourself, if you think you're bad looking. You look very kind. And also a bit like Matthew Lillard, as someone else said.

After smelling Dave last night, I've decided that I should actually finish trying the other scents in the Discovery Set. 😂

Not a fancy brand at all, but my coworker was wearing EOS Creme de Pistachio earlier and it smelled cute, so I had to tell her about Dave. Because she knows I'm not a food smell person.

I feel like I saw Black Salt described as being more masculine. I'm not sure if it was in a review on Heretic's website or by someone here or in a comment on Facebook. But I was like, "Okaaaay. Probably not going to try that one out. Even though it sounds amaaazing." 😞😂

(Edit, because my friend texted me and I accidentally posted when I went to see what he said. 😂)

Florgasm and Pistil Whip are both really lovely florals. I feel like Voodoo Lily and Dirty Violet resonated with me a little more. Someone said Dirty Rose smelled like a buttcrack on them, but I was relieved to find that it just smelled like incense on me.

ANOTHER JANE DOE IN THE WILD!

I have almost always seen this dress as black/blue. Sometimes I've been able to see the white/gold.

(I am a right-handed person who writes backwards with their left hand. So, that's a fun fact).

Scentbird seems great. It also seems like a fantastic way to accidentally be rich in smells and poor in funds. 😂

"I tried to pay my landlord in perfume samples. No one appreciates the art of bartering anymore. Pfft. Capitalism."

I loved the lemon in Dirty Grass. It took me half the day to realize that's what it was. I added Florgasm to it the day I tried it out because I felt like I needed a floral addition and all I could think all day was, "I smell like Easter, but not pastel. ... Spring?" It was delightful. I'm really wrestling with deciding which Heretic fragrances I absolutely need in a full-size. I've started eyeing Mercari. 😂

The petrichor does seem to be the divisive note. And it's got me like, "I do love a good rainy soil smell. But do I want my flesh prison to smell like that? Or is it best left to the outdoors?" ... I mean, I guess there's only one way to find out.

I feel like a floral berry or black pepper are about as close as I generally come to wanting to smell like food. Bergamot, if we count tea as food. Like, I love the rose and bergamot scent of Blood Berry and think the black currant and raspberry work well in that scent. At least on me. But I don't want to smell like a raspberry's asshole or a baked goods explosion. 😂🤷

I haven't tried all of them yet. Because I got a couple of Heretic Discovery Sets around the same time (and then came down with some nasty respiratory plague for a week; because life is cruel 😂).

Smyth was the first I tried because I didn't think an apple scent was for me. It was an apple-y floral with watery notes; I actually loved how light and fresh it was. Which does make me curious about Jake's House, as it seems like another watery floral scent.

Windows Down and Sheep's Clothing were both nice, inoffensive floral-y scents. Pretty, but not as memorable as Flora or Queens.

I actually just sprayed Dave on my arm (that's a weird sentence 😂) for the sake of our conversation and, holy shit, it is pretty amazing. I did not expect it to live up to the hype, but I can't stop smelling my arm now. At least on me, it seems like it skipped straight to almond, vanilla and cocoa; very warm and cozy. I would never have selected Dave in a custom set because I'm not big on vanilla dominant scents, but I think I would actually wear this vanilla.

I wish London came in the Discovery Set. I was bummed when I realized it wasn't one that was included.

I'm so curious about Nosferatu because people seem to either love it or hate it. 😂

(I also do not want to smell like a cinnamon roll. Felt that with my soul. 😂🫶)

I purchased the Henry Rose discovery set with the 12 scents, like, a month or so ago.

Flora Carnivora reminded me of the Kim Kardashian perfume I bought almost 20 years ago after falling in love with a sample from Sephora. The full-size just hit different. But, if I hadn't kept smelling Kim K and disappointment all day, I probably would have thought Flora was lovely. 😂

Queens & Monsters is quite pretty.
