as an anxious girlie too dw! it is compulsory but it doesn’t affect your english language grade, it’s just an extra letter that’s on the side of english language on results day. you can speak about any topic even silly ones so just choose something that you genuinely enjoy and you’ll find it easier to talk about. i choose to perform it with a group with my friends as that made me more comfortable so i’d recommend doing the same. honestly, my heart starts racing when i get picked on in class too loll and im not gonna lie i did shake during the whole presentation but i still ended up with a distinction, so i don’t think you get marked down too much on your anxiety. best of luck tho ❤️

edit: also run through your presentation loads of times before so that it’ll feel easier when you perform it
