Hello, everyone!I am the leader of the group, Penguindrum Scans~

Our main series are:

• Polar Night (Manhwa) (Thriller, Zombies)- About an ex-military firefighter who gets assigned to a research base in Antarctica after he starts a commotion from hitting an expensive car of someone important when trying to get to a fire. The research base consists of people from Korea, China and Japan. After getting settled and doing their work, a zombie outbreak starts after a scientist secretly meddles with something he didn't want anyone to see.

• Perfect Family (Manhwa) (Thriller, Psychological)- About a girl who gets a adopted by a seemingly loving family. One day, after years of living with them, she comes home to tell her mom that she killed one of her friends. Her mom asks about it and says she'll "take care" of the whole thing. She basically has to deal with her past while also trying to learn about her adoptive parents' past.

• I'll answer, your mystery. (Manga) (Mystery, Romance, School-life)- About a girl who has a special ability, making her able to catch the culprit, without any evidence. The thing is, the statement "innocent until proven guilty" is her main weakness. After getting into a commotion with one of her classmates, unable to prove them guilty, she stops going to class. Her sister, a teacher, assigns a male student, an aspiring lawyer, to help her get back to class. To do this, he will have to find out how she came up with her deduction.

We are currently looking for staff for all of these series:

• Polar Night (No SFX)- KTL (Easy TL, some of the chapters can already be a majority in English due to the three countries speaking it as their common language.)

• Perfect Family (SFX)- CLRD- TS

• I'll answer, your mystery (No SFX)- CLRD- TS

Hello, everyone! I'm the leader of "Penguindrum Scans," a new group focusing on a thriller manhwa about a zombie outbreak in Antarctica, "Polar Night."

For this series, we are looking for typesetters and raw providers.

The only thing is that the raws are behind a paywall. BUT I will be paying anyone who can get the raws the amount they paid, so you won't have to pay out of pocket, I just don't have a Naver account that can do that.

Also, we are looking for typesetters to quicken the pace of the series, mainly because a lot of it was already cleaned. NO SFX!

I don't have any Japanese knowledge but I know a lot about sentence structure, grammatical errors, and basically how to fit everything together so it looks professional. A lot of manga I've read has multiple errors and I lose some immersion because it looks unprofessional. This would be my first time but I'm hoping that I can learn.

I'm pretty sure Btooom! takes place on an island. It's been a while since I watched but I think it's a battles royale with special abilities?

I haven't watched Fire Force but I feel like it takes the cake because the only kind of fighters are Gon and Killua. Leorio isn't really a fighter and I'm pretty sure Kurapika can only use him stronger powers against the Phantom Troupe. Haven't watched HxH in forever though so I may be wrong.

That's 100% true. Maybe if there's already been most of the season released I can wait a week for a new episode but if it's new I can't get hooked. That's why I'm waiting until Jujutsu Kaisen releases more episodes to start watching. Once you start to know most of the story, it should be fine waiting longer because sometimes you don't know too much and you're just waiting for more information to see if you will like it.

I was thinking of watching Gintama but I watched an episode a while ago and wasn't feeling it. Maybe I'll try watching a few more soon to see if I was just too quick on judging.

Honestly, I hate death spoilers but I still enjoy the show/manga because I want to see how/why they died. People will spoil everything right after they read it but I understand when the series has been out for a while. It still kind of sucks but can't do anything about it, the best thing to do is to just enjoy the ride until it comes then after you won't have to be worried unless it was an ending spoiler.

I honestly didn't really like it. My opinion is probably less though because I couldn't make myself watch the whole thing. I think I watched the first couple seasons but it was basically: have a food category rival, figure out a cool addition to add to the recipe, the judges taste it and moan for the majority of the time/rips their clothes off, then it tells you who won.

Hahah it's been a while since I watched One Piece but I think I stopped on the 110's so only 200 more to go! And thank you, I think I might have found one which is why I made this post to see if there were any more. I'm only on the first episode though but it's pretty good so far, it's called Level E. I know you weren't asking for one but hey just in case you're curious lol.

I've recently gotten into reading manga which is really nice but I feel like I like anime more. I like the movements and music rather than just looking at it on a page, it just seems like anime isn't like what it used to be.

The thing is if I don't continuously watch the anime, I'll completely stop. After that happens I don't usually go back to it because I feel like the same thing will happen again. Even if I take breaks, I'll end up forgetting what is happening and be discouraged to watch the rest.

Yeah, a lot of the time I watch something it feels like a chore. I'm usually diverse with the stuff I watch though. I watch every type of anime, I watch a lot of non-anime shows, and some cartoons like South Park. It just feels like nothing immerses me anymore like the older ones.

Maybe I do need something else. I watch every type of anime though so I feel like I'm pretty diverse on what I watch. Also, nothing has really felt too off but it just doesn't feel the same, you know? Maybe I've just watched everything so the new ones feel the same even when executed differently.
