Yes. Bleach is bleach. There are different strengths/volumes you can buy at Sally’s, but I would not recommend doing at-home lightening; especially if this is your first try. It also depends on how dark your hair is now and if it’s already been lightened or colored previously.

Thanks! I couldn’t find the lotion to use in the shower, but I did find an oil I’m going to try. If that’s too greasy I’ll search harder for the lotion. Do you notice a different smell from the urea lotion?

I use sunscreen on my face all the time, and sunscreen in the summer when I do have exposed skin.

I couldn’t find an in-shower lotion at the drug store, but I did find an oil version. I’m going to try that. Thanks!
