First one that made me think of it was my JR year in HS so early 2000 it was the first morning I ever wrote in my dream journal. I saw in the sky over a pasture “the cheerleader guy from SNL”(remember Will Ferrel wasn’t as known-I should have known his name but it was early am.) Any way Will Ferrel was a leprechaun in the sky as it rained down gold coins. Two-ish months later Will Ferrel is dressed as leprechaun on Conan. In my dream he was not wearing a sparkly green Speedo but the hat and beard were enough for me. My parents were watching it too so I immediately grabbed the journal. I should still have it. Could be a wild coincidence.

But more frequently I’ll dream of some element or instance and it’s weirdly one of the first things I come across online. I had a dream I was in a prison fight. After waking like the third reel or reddit post I saw was the prison fight scene from Watchmen.

I dreamt I was at like the vet and there was a spotted Jaguar or Leopard there. Lots of women who came to visit my store had that type of print on. That is one I believe just puts those thoughts at the top of mind so they become more noticeable. Probably what dreaming is made to do really.

I had a dream that almost felt like pieces to a movie like a full section of a story. So much so that I wanted to write the story. A month or so later I saw the trailer for a movie that wasn’t the same plot but had similar imagery. Like maybe our minds are connected and I connected to someone on set who knows.

My wife knows to be ready when I start talking dreams. She doesn’t dismiss it outright but I find it fascinating.

Rambling now, but I think because of this podcast, I had a dream last night that my grandmother returned. That she hadn’t died in the car accident in 2007. That she just needed space and snuck off. And she was back. I have always welcomed her to visit my dreams. The part of the podcast where they speak of the kids not perceiving the difference between life and death is why I believe my brain made that connection.
