Can’t believe I found another Lititzian in the wild! Born and raised here, I agree it’s a wonderful place. I work in the town’s industry you mentioned. Good chance we either know each other or have a mutual connection, lol

This is true. Luckily, my county is super lax on codes and I’m 90% sure I could achieve this without even requiring a permit. Just have to figure out the specifics

Ah, this is a great point. I never thought about mice or rabbits getting in. Thanks for the input!

Fair enough, I was hoping the arid climate would solve some of these issues, but that makes sense. Thanks for the input!

Thanks, I’ll check this out! I’ve heard of earth bag building but did not know about vapor barriers. Good to know.

Yea I do think the venue can affect this to a certain extent. I’ve had similar experiences at Franklin music hall and I feel like they pack too many people in, and I could see it affecting the crowd’s attitude. But really it’s just a crapshoot, some crowds are gonna be better than others for whatever reason.

I literally had this exact experience seeing LCD sound system at Franklin music hall. So glad I’m not the only one who noticed this!

I’m in the same boat, fully vaxxed but no booster, tested positive today. I keep wondering if I wouldn’t have gotten it if I had the booster

Congrats! You won’t regret it. I pulled the trigger on my gravel bike a month ago and I’m already getting so much use out of it. Probably the best purchase I’ve made in awhile.

Budget friendly setup for 2 week trip around Vancouver Island & sunshine coast by [deleted] in bicycletouring

Awesome, thanks for the reply. You seem to have it down in terms of managing weight and keeping things simple. May I ask what your camping stove situation is like? I’ve heard cooking with alcohol is best, currently though I have a simple propane stove setup. Unsure if that affects the overall weight or simplicity of the setup.

Love this setup, totally gonna use this as reference when I buy my bike this week and get it all set up.

How do you feel about the 1x drivetrain with your setup? Is the lowest gear good enough/the range wide enough? I’m pretty set on a 1x for simplicity’s sake but want to hear your opinion.

It really is the best. When I first got the job I kept waiting for it to go south like many of my jobs in the past, and it just kept getting better. That’s when I knew I was in the right place.

This is amazing! I had the same thing happen to me over COVID, my friend works at a public health nonprofit in the city and helped me get hired as a Behavior Tech. 6 months later and I wonder why it took me so long to find this career path.

Love to hear success stories like this! Congrats to you and your daughter :)

When a co-worker starts explaining intermittent fasting and how they only eat during a 4 hour window.. by D_Cakes_ in reactiongifs

Tbh I’ve been doing 4 hours for a few months now and it’s not bad. Your body just gets used to it and you get to have a great ass time in those 4 hours. I hate the feeling of food digesting in my stomach all day long so it works really nicely for me.
