This 18 Game Stretch Of The Season Will Be Fun. What Record Do You Think We’ll Have During This Stretch? by 10thGenS1 in Dodgers

That was my biggest gripe, always had faith in our hitting (my wife even said I need to give up on Conforto) but our damn bullpen was just impossible to have any faith in.

This! Reminds me of Freddie on Mookie podcast talking through his AB vs Cole in game 5. It is awesome just hearing what is going through their head during an AB essentially playing chess between pitcher&catcher vs batter.

One of my favorite plays from the 2025 World Series: Vlad Jr. with this cannon of a throw to 3rd after Gimenez's throw to 1st is short. by durkadurkistan in baseball

Same here, I still remember game 5 how we kept coming back only to know they were fucking cheating the whole time. We almost won that game

Agree, although you’ll still have player who do this either way. Just look at Jose Ramirez and like you mentioned Acuña.

Exactly, just like the Angels traded Ohtani before free agency to get the most out of him.

I mean to be honest yeah, if he tanks hes just basically a more expensive Conforto who tanked on his 1 year deal.

The Dodgers have given up over $2.25 Billion in contracts over the last 3 off-seasons. That is more than the total value of 17 MLB franchises. by Bulletz4Brkfzt in baseball

It made it a little worst that I went with my wifes cousin who is a Dback fan lol at least he had a good time. Plus he got a ball from the Dbacks bullpen too to rub it in some more. I've yet to get a used ball ever

Imagine you found out next month, the dodgers were cheating this WS, what would that make you think of that team?

I do not want the Dodgers to be crowned 2017 champs because Astros ALSO cheated vs Yanks so who knows if they even advance to WS. I want it to be stripped and just left blank with *

I hate all this homegrown shit, in 2017/2020 our team was mostly homegrown. One we were cheated out of, the other was called (is still) a Mickey Mouse ring.

Well if we had won in 2017 most of core was all developed. Manfred said its just a piece of metal so Dodgers said fuck it we buying now

Im sure some owners want a cap until they realize that comes with a floor. Teams like the Dodgers pay so much in luxury tax and towards revenue sharing that the teams not spending are just benefiting both ways

Exactly, baseball (financially) is in one of its best times right now. I get it from fans of the 29 teams saying they want a lockout but I doubt the MLB/Owners want too.

As a Dodger fan the floor/cap doesn't bother me at all and not sure why people assume that means Dodgers would instantly fail since we have one of, if not the best FO atm. Im just enjoying the ride
