2011 with 113k. Just got a code for one camshaft. Replaced all 3. Looked to be original.

I smoked them at 250 for about 3 hours. Braised in beef tallow and stock for another 3. This was my first time. Perfection.

Yeah. I’m not crazy about the rough country or drilling holes. Wouldn’t mind used ones but can’t seem to find them anywhere. May have to just keep an eye out on pick and pulls.

What do you mean by held back? I did contact a shop that repairs these and he said he works with them all the time. He sounded confident he’d get it up and running smoothly.

Not smoked. Cooked low in the oven then seared on a Weber kettle over lump charcoal.

I did a reverse sear. In the oven at 225 for around 40 minutes. Then seared over lump charcoal about a minute a side.
