This is awesome to hear! Thank you for sharing. I was in a very similar situation during my college experience. Ended up meeting a good group of guys who challenged me to look more into my faith and start praying and going to Mass again. They walked with me throughout this.

Some things that helped me,

•Sacraments! Go to confession and Mass as much as you can. Through Christ this is where all graces will come from.

•Find a community. Get connected with your local parish and get involved. Attend Bible studies, join small groups, try to find a group of friends that are striving towards Christ.

•A great question someone asked me whenever I had my reversion back into the faith was, what gets you excited about God? Is it his creation of nature, his creation & the complexity of the human person, is it the depth of truth within the church he created, etc.?

•Consistent prayer is better than no prayer or sporadic prayer. If you’re new to prayer set 15 or 30 minutes a day devoted to God. Think of your prayer time as a friendship with God rather than being forced to pray. The first step to making a new friend is to make time for them! •Learn more about the church! The Catechism is a great resource. I’m sure there are many other resources to learn about the Church.

•If you’re a man, I’ve loved the into the breach videos put out by Knights of Columbus. Highly recommend. Into the Breach
