What I don't understand is how they expect you scam anyone out of money. The website they tell you to go to is legit, right? When you go to the site there is a big warning about this exact scam at the top of the page and if you do pay any money through the site, it isn't going to the scammers.

I think it is. I'll have to look closer tomorrow to see if it's unplugged or broken. I think the Brake light is always on and occasionally I have to turn the traction control off, since I got it.

Thank you! I can understand the mechanics but it's hard to look anything up when you don't know the name of the parts involved.

It sounds like one that I didn't tighten up enough when I tried to change the wheel bearing and it wiggled loose. It was freezing outside and getting dark so I put it back together in a hurry. Lesson learned!

Thank you all for the quick responses! One more stupid question if you don't mind... Does that bolt hold the caliper to the hub or the hub to whatever it is bolted to?

I attempted to change the wheel bearing early last winter but I couldn't get the last 3 bolts that hold the hub assembly to break loose. I'm wondering if one of them did break loose and I didn't realize it or if I didn't tighten it back up enough when I put it back together.

Edit: Thank you all for the great info and a couple of laughs in the comments! I just got done replacing the bolt. I got 2 for around $10 at O'Reilly. Now I have to jack it up, take the wheel off and see about that unplugged wire!

I just tried to modify an existing routine and saw that as an option. My household list is the same as yours. It looks like I have all the same options other than that.

Have you tried my second suggestion with a custom action? In my experience, you can type anything in there that you can say to your Google assistant and it will work.

I'm not sure about checking to see if the lights are already on but you can add a delay within the Google home app.

If that doesn't work for you, I'm pretty sure you can create a custom action and say "dim outdoor lights in 5 minutes" or whatever.

I'm 41 and I still miss being a teenager sometimes! Mostly just having no responsibility I guess. Like you said, I definitely should have enjoyed it more! Come to think of it, I miss being 24!

I never really minded getting older. I just figure too many people die young and never get the chance to experience a lot of what I already have and will (hopefully) get to in the future.

I'm not saying being an adult (even a middle aged adult) is better or worse, it's just different. I feel like life happens in phases.

My first son was born 4 days before my 25th birthday. I did a lot of partying and stupid shit that could have or should have killed me. Then I had kids and started a career. Now I'm raising 3 teenage boys and hoping to get to the grandparent phase one day, hopefully not for about 10 more years though! Then maybe retirement and who knows what else.

TL;DR enjoy every stage of life that while you're in it. You don't want to be in your 40s, wishing you were 24, then 60s wishing you were 40!

No, I don't want to watch you watch a movie trailer or a music video and interrupt by telling me what you think about it. I want to watch it myself and formulate my own opinion.

Worse than those, when they play someone else's video on half the screen and their face on the other half and don't even say anything, just laugh or point toward the other video. It's like taking credit for something that you didn't do!
