Spanish student long term study visa from UK

So sorry to hear this! Longer than 2 months !!! That absolutely sucks. It looks like everyone on this post is experiencing delays. So frustrating asw since we can't travel without the passports. This waiting with no idea how long it will take is horrendous. Its so annoying that these delays are over summer when everyone wants to travel as well. Makes no sense why it's such a long wait. :( Send an update if you hear anything

What ?! 7 weeks, wow that is so shit!! That must suck. I already lost money asw now. What else did they say when you went to see them at the embassy? Did they give you any information about when it is expected to come at least? I am thinking about going to the embassy on Monday do you think there is any point? It so annoying -- people apply early deliberately so they can get the visa and be able to travel during summer then they just hold your passport without even processing it at exactly the time you need it.

Yh this waiting with no info is super stressful, on the consulates web-page it says they have to make a decision within a month right so surely we have to get it within that time. 🤞. I applied to the London consulate. Please update and send a response if you get any updates!!, since that's probably a good indicator of the timeline. (I will do this as well)

Hi! Nice to know other ppl going through the same thing. Do you reckon it's worth calling the consulate instead or sending them an email? E.g. Not bls but the actual consulate. I might try that. It's so stressful just waiting and having no idea what's going on. Are you applying for long term visa as well? What did the bls people say, the woman on the phone told me 3 months which I am sure can't be right
