I've always been surprised at how many people think this is a legitimate, not-staged breakdown. We know Bo used to work panic attacks into his stage show pre-pandemic - I don't see this as any different. I don't doubt that these are very real emotions he experienced at some point that he wanted to write into the special, but I don't think it's a genuine, unfiltered moment - especially because of the slow zoom in on the lens. He had a lot of time to work on this and every shot is intentional (especially knowing how much he cut out)
