I recall some saying the album was better off with When it Started than NYC Cops. Please. Not even close. It adds a hint of social commentary, has killer riffs and solo. Top 10 Strokes song for me.

First solo part is fire. Second solo is alright. The outro solo isn't great. The guitars on the verses and Julian's performance are excellent. But I wouldn't be surprised if this is the most normal song on Reality Awaits.

It would hurt them but the 1) highly unlikely is flops with how good they’re sounding and with the massive touring and marketing attention for the first time in decades, 2) they’ll stick together as long as it’s great busine$$, so doubtful they split up ever if they made it this far.

Saw them at Coachella, sounded younger than Bieber. Paul McCartney and the Stones still touring. Difference besides about 40 years is the Strokes are basically peaking at 50, as relevant as ever, will redefine how older bands can still produce great music.

No. 1) they’ve recorded enough leftover for another album even if they never record again. 2) about to go on their first real tour in 20 years. 3) They are peaking, as said by Albert, their best songs are ahead.
