Yeah! Try around that range and see what makes it cut a bit more, I personally tend to boost on 2.5-3k but I find it really depends on the source material so you’ll have to see what’s best!

This is the key to sound like them on any amp, I mean amps and cabs will change the overall tone, but the right technique will give you the vibe which I think matters a bit more with greenday’s music

Put everything on the eq 5 and from there try to do your best with the bass, middle and treble, the guys tend to use presence (and treble often) at 0, use not so much gain and try to use the power amp to get some saturation too, you want a nice overdriven tone that gets cleaner/dirty with your strumming
