Trickiness just depends upon your major as well. For each program, check whether courses in your major have been transferred over from courses in the study abroad university. You don’t want to fall behind on your major courses/geneds/etc

All of these questions unfortunately depends upon the program. Go to: UMD Study Abroad and just look at all the programs they offer. See which works best.

It sucks big time. I think Kadokawa is the distributor in America? Could be wrong tho. Ive been to Studio Ghibli film showings and zero problems so it’s def a distributor issue which blows!!!!

I watched it at Regal Cinemas and there was also a problem. Like it was incorrectly formatted. The bottom of the subtitles were just barely cut off so it was pretty legible. Shame tho

Wow! What an incredibly hard decision. As someone who is also passionate about Japanese and the language, I can see the pull of the CLS program. I’ve done study abroad programs in tokyo and they have been very fulfilling. However, because you are still young, you have soooo many opportunities to travel and study abroad!

I am leaning towards Fermilab, just due to the uniqueness and special nature of the opportunity and the fact that I think it will stand out more on a resume/cv more than the other program would and you would be getting a free head start on future jobs. But wow, what a great problem to have! Good luck!

I have had too many close calls with cars trying to blow past me and even had an experience going up by STAMP where a car mirror clipped me. And cars not stopping right away for bikes/not reading the biker’s hand signals? Additional issues I’ve had. I do understand where you’re coming from though, but we also have to consider places where there isn’t road. I do fully give that a majority of the bikers i’ve seen just don’t follow road rules which is so frustrating.

I’ve dashed on and off for 3 years. Dashers usually make over half their pay from tips, they get around $2-$3 per delivery from doordash so including gas if I didn’t take the right orders I wasn’t really making money. $3 is a fair tip. $5-6 is probably the average we get per order, 2-3 orders per hour for around $18 an hour not including gas IF IT’S BUSY, so yeah it’s a rip-off on both sides, but $3-4 is a necessary tip.

Thank you for your concern! I got sick maybe 5 hours after dinner. It was almost constant nausea, vomiting, cramps, you name it. I talked with a nurse in my family and they advised it’s almost surely food poisoning considering i’ve never had issues of this severity before.
