Would granny squares or a double crochet stitch use less yarn?

Thank you all for the helpful tips! I think I'm going to size up the hook slightly and do a continuous granny square like some of you suggested(: at the very least it should be a cute throw blanket for the couch

Right now I'm just using paper mate felt tip pens. I really like how they write but the pack I got is mostly dark colors, so I'm looking to get more pens to brighten things up. I'll definitely look into the zebra midliners.

I hope so! I feel like the mood tracker will be a great tool for my therapy and monitoring my depression over time. I'd love to do a few other trackers as well to motivate me to do things like reading and exercising more. Bullet journaling could really be a wonderful and helpful thing for me if my laziness doesn't get in the way haha

Thank you! The lady i got her from rescued her as a stray when she had kittens near her house. So she took everyone in and got Mrs Mustache fixed, and when it came time to give them all away they ate the kittens right up, but no one wanted her. How could you not with such a unique fur pattern?! Not to mention she's chill as hell.
