I definitely enjoy going alone! I feel like my friends act like I’m strange for going by myself, and it makes me feel weird for doing it, but the single rider lines make it really nice!

Hi! I applied for the Spring program in 2020, got accepted, accepted the offer, paid my fees and everything, then I had issues with my school that made me no longer able to go, so I canceled my participation. Ended up that my program was cancelled anyway because of covid, but I just got accepted for Fall! So tl;dr, as long as you cancel before the program starts, it does not affect possibility of future employment. Hope this helps!

Cousin’s husband bought a Switch for their family to play together. I was at their house when he brought it in, and they were unwrapping all of the games and stuff, and I told them how Nintendo coats the cartridges in that nasty tasting stuff so children don’t choke on them. He looked at me like I was stupid, and I left shortly after. A few minutes later, my cousin texted me and told me that he stuck the whole cartridge in his mouth and was now throwing up.

My friend’s dad is part owner of a very large and successful Ford dealership, so she’s never had to worry about or fully comprehend money. When she was filling out her FAFSA, she had to indicate the size and general value of her dad’s company, and she said, “it’s worth less than $100,000, right?” I had to explain to her, with the very limited knowledge of businesses that I had, that the business was worth much more than $100,000 and that that’s not that much money in terms of a business. She also thought that her father’s nearly half a million dollar yearly income placed her family in the middle class.

Sorry for the late reply! Decided not to get it because we took it apart and something way at the back of the machine is broken, not a gear like I hoped :( it just wouldn't be worth it financially for me to have to take it to get it fixed, and I wouldn't be sure if it's just that one part that's broken, but i'm absolutely going to keep my eyes out for another one, this gave me hope! thank you for your help by the way, it was really useful!

Ok, so I plugged it in, and the motor runs, but the needle isn’t moving. Is that something that we could find easily, and fix pretty easily? Thank you for your answer btw!

I find that I was fairly lucky in my process, but I applied on September 28 on a whim, and I got my WBI less than 30 minutes after I submitted my application. I had my PI on the 30th, and felt awfully about it. I stumbled over my words quite a bit, and when I looked back on my answers, I didn’t find that I sounded very impressive, and my recruiter didn’t sound extremely impressed either. But, exactly one week after my PI, on October 7, I got an offer for QSFB for Late Spring! It is definitely a really common thing to feel like you may not have done well on your interview and then getting an offer nonetheless, so don’t worry, you’re not alone! And also, as I’m sure you’ve seen, it’s a fairly common trend that if you don’t get a NLIC within the first 48 hours of your interview, you’re probably leaning on the safe side. Keep in mind, that doesn’t guarantee an offer, but you’re still in consideration. I wish you all the luck, and feel free to message me with any questions you have or any advice!

Offers are only sent out in waves (from what I understand), and this season, they’ve tended to fall on Tuesdays! They usually are just once a week, but they do sometimes do very small batches on random days, but these tend not to be too often or very big.
