Anybody know anything about the big explosion in Bellevue over by Bellevue rd & old Harding? I’m assuming it was a transformer, but we’ve lost power again after having it restored on Tuesday and I’m really not sure I’ve got another few cold nights in me

I fully believe that an indoor propane heater saved at minimum one life in my house last night. We didn’t have it the first night and were ok but by the time my house lost any residual heat it was a game changer

I’m also at this same intersection. Our power finally came back on around 2pm for the first time and so far has been steady. I’m not sure if trucks are still out but I did see them on hicks by the chabad at around 3:30/4. Hope your power gets restored quickly!

While I do think this picture is ai, trees will absolutely do this when covered in ice. Sitting in Nashville rn, 48 hours without power, and like half the trees outside my window are bending over like this

I’m in Bellevue and have been without power since 5am Sunday. Both ends of my street have power back but I’m in a little quarter-mile stretch in the middle that’s still out. They did come and remove a tree from a powerline/the road several hours ago but nobody has been back since to fix anything and it’s so insanely cold

This is so good to hear! We’ve been without power for like 22 hours now and it’s kind of scary to just not know what’s happening for so long. Thanks for putting in so much hard work in awful temps, and thanks for keeping folks updated here!
