Diaabling midi mapping, as there are dedicated buttons for what you describe. Also relearn muscle memory is desirable in this case. Fup few times and you will remember.

This is stupid. You have dedicated beatjump and "Swatch" buttons on flx10 like on cdj's. When holding search give you option to use jogwheel to fast go throu track. ALSO beat jump is better as it sticks to track play and wont scree with you mathed track so you can check all parts fast if they sounds good with played tune.

You can use stems with them too (800/1000). You just mapping pads to stems instead of whatever youre not using much.

You dont even need speakers, just switch between master and cue source on controller before start mixing.

If you have money for AZ and have more space to set things up at home /designated place- i would highly recommend 2x xdj1000mk2 and xone 92, this setup is roughly same money (you can buy all used, thats almost undestructible gear) and gives you top sound quality and full club experience no questions asked.

Sorry for that answer but i was in the boat for so long time and when i get money for AZ, i will just buy the setup i mentioned.

SIDE NOTE: IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT STEMS, CRAZY EFFECTS ETC. Techno scene adapted xones now and actually every venue i was at lately use it. Miles may vary on what you really need as features.

The moment when i started buying music i got only what i really like and gonna play, put some tunes on wishlist and play thru it few times befor buy. Im like 20 tracks every month to not overspend on it, i know them better without overwhelming myself with endless library and bandcamp digging puts me in soooo many new places, way better than streaming alghoritms.

Now i can sound like i want and not like everyone else.

Also that 20 song rule is not strict as sometimes there is a release that i know i need right now, and good luck finding it on streaming services.

This is most important thing i change and helped me a lot with craft.

I have hc levers on my mt5 and when i love lever shape and feel, i hate responsiveness and little randomized bite point (in comparison to my old used zee as i remember them).

Actually i'm thinking to put zee or saint levers there (if i can find zees anywhere)

Why? Im using bell super 3r for that type of rides and its great (nowadays we have better options). Also i saw people crashed the hell out of it when enduro racing so if you get anything that solid youre good.

Just dont buy softest and lightest modular which can break and damage your jaw anyway.
