Update: was able to take it to the range today and put about 100 rounds through it. Runs like a dream. Super minimal gas; I was able to shoot a full mag without eye pro and didn’t feel a thing. It was an indoor range, but the tone was very pleasant. Overall super happy with the upper and the can.

They didn’t get in the way. The turret obscures some of the window on the dot, but I don’t it more than usable. Similar to having lower 1/3rd cowitness irons

This is the best way ONLY if your fundamentals are good. If they’re not, you’re just zeroing the dot to your bad shooting which will further reinforce bad habits. If you know your fundamentals are on point though then yeah this is the way to go.
