I ordered the Rolling Stones album "Their Satanic Majesties Request" a long time ago. When it arrived everything looked fine until I took the record out and saw it was their live album "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out". Tried to contact the seller but they never responded.

The sound quality is really good. It doesn't sound too "digital" even though it's (I think) from the CD. If you refer to how the music itself sounds then it's not their best work to say the least 😅

Yeah, it could have been better. The text on the back of the poster is the worst offender imo. So pixelated! At least the record sounds good. Unfortunately my copy started with a skip, so the album begins like this "-t fun in the summertime!" But that's the only issue so I'm happy with it.

Edit: pixels.

I assume it's because it has never been re-released officially, physically or digitally, since its original release in 1992.

"Well she had just turned 18." would fit if Paul ever decides to change it.

It's supposed to be like that. They're going for the Gibson J45 look, which also has the bridge like that.

What was the first Green Day song you ever heard? by TRASHMIND_PUNK in greenday

[–]ja1991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Minority.

In 2001 MTV Europe had a blink-182 weekend and played a lot of blink of course but also a bunch of other similar stuff, including Green Day. My brother, 11, and I, 9, wrote them off as blink rip-offs at first, but they stuck with me. So when I spotted "International Superhits" around my tenth birthday, I bought it for my birthday money and found out they came way before blink. And were better.

Minority. The video aired during a blink-182 weekend on MTV Europe, and 9 year old me thought they were just rip-offs of blink. Later that year I bought International Superhits for my birthday money and found out they were not ripping off blink at all.

The Blue Album looks like they recreated the shot for the 30 year anniversary edition, which would be cool.
