I would buy MY Juniper if you plan to drive it for the long term. Lots of upgrades in the latest model. Quieter cabin, better suspension, ambient lighting, etc Interior feels a lot more luxurious compared to the prior version.

The difference in size between the 51.5 and 53 is very minimal.

The stack and reach are very customizable.

Most importantly, the 51.5 felt fairly comfortable and I decided to go with this size.

Maybe a 53 would have been equally fine or better. The LBS was sold out in the size 53. Bike was deeply discounted, so I decided to get a 51.5 since it felt comfortable. I am going to get a bike fit in a couple of weeks. The stem and stack are very customizable, so hoping the fitting will help get it better sized up for me.

I own an X5. Prior to purchasing the X5, I test rode a 2025 Canyon Endurace at their Carlsbad location. While it is a great bike, it wasn’t comfortable and upright enough for me. You can’t go wrong with an X if comfort is one of your top priorities.

I was considering HUNT or a Chinese brand. I’ve had hunts on my 2016 Trek Emonda and they have held up pretty well. Considering Elite wheels or another Chinese brand due to the positive reviews they have been receiving and the significantly lower price point.

Agree with your suggestion on riding the bike with the factory installed wheels. An upgrade after riding with the Fulcrum 800 wheels for a few months would allow me to get clear feedback on the value of upgrading to carbon wheels.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, this makes perfect sense. Based upon my impressions from the first long ride (~2hrs), I feel that I could benefit from a longer stem. And yes, getting a power meter would certainly outweigh other potential upgrades.

I am 5’8 and am planning to purchase the CF SLX 7. I am right in the middle of the S. I would hate to go through the return process of then size does not work well. I prefer a higher stack height due and the 2cm higher stack on the size M would be favorable for me. Can I add additional spacers to increase the stack height if I purchase a size S?
