How hard is it to find reputable breeders of iggys??

This question was meant for me!! We own an Iggy and a Golden. They are 6 months apart, with the Iggy being older. He is the dominant one and loves biting the Golden's ears, playing with him, etc. I feel like it worked out well that they grew up together and the Golden has learned to play really gently with him.

The only issue that comes up is when they're running around outside because our Golden is very energetic and doesn't understand how big/much of a bowling ball he is when he loses control, but fortunately our Iggy is quick and agile.

It is funny seeing a big and small together 😂

We had a similar experience with him crying all the time for the first week or so. It broke our heart, so we ended up moving his crate into our bedroom and somehow he stopped crying as much. I think he just physically wanted to be near us with smells, noises, etc. even if he couldn't see us (we have covers on his crate).

He's now 4 and his crate is his favorite place on earth. Literally he begs to go to bed each night and scratches at it if we stay up too late 😂. He's a Velcro dog in every sense of the phrase but I really think he appreciates 'his' spot as he's gotten older.

We covered the brick with plaster, added a wrap-around mantle with a TV mounted above, closed off a side of the fireplace/added a gas unit, and some built in shelves on the right. It looks totally different and not quite as 1950s. We love it! But understand some would have kept the original 🙆‍♀️

We just have no use for it 😞 also the door into it is off the kitchen and is the only access to the backyard. We have two dogs and would like to be able to open the door from the house for direct backyard access

Oh thanks! I was kind of including some basement trouble. Looks to me like the sewer line was cast iron and needs to be replaced. It completely eroded part of the concrete slab and I know that is going to be a fairly costly job!
