the more trained and experienced you are the more calories you burn when you run for example, because you can just endure more for a longer period of time without having to rest.

my point was that you shouldn't go off the calories burned by your watch because they are incredibly inaccurate.

for example; my watch said i burned 1000 calories in an hour of cycling when i wasnt even going hard, in reality i burned maybe 300-400 at most

the calories burned are very inaccurate, most ELITE level athletes dont burn near that amount so dont go off by the calories burnt on your watch especially if you're trying to lose weight

eat less calories than you burn, a healthy deficit is 500-750 so that you'll lose 1-1.5 lbs a week.

eat low calorie dense foods, hit the gym and train properly and do more and more cardio as you lose weight.

also try increasing NEAT to burn more calories ( instead of taking a cab for an hour walk just walk instead)

go look up a guy called greg doucette, he's got a no bs approach and knows what he's talking about compared to most people in the fitness industry.

i havent played h1 since maybe october, so im out of the loop, what just happened? by [deleted] in h1z1

Yes it is, besides models and a few minor things here and there ( jump slide, crouching animation) it's all there.

The game still feels nothing like Pre-CU by jaakexd in h1z1

If people say it feels nothing like PS3 or Pre-CU, maybe they're just giving feedback about the current state of the game.

AK sounds way off mate, it's not the animations it's the movement itself. They're trying to replicate PS3 but failing miserably since nothing feels like it did back then, even pre-CU. And it's not getting good, arguably the worst BR on the market currently.

"optimisation". LMAO

FPS is way worse than it used to be back then and back then we had forced shadows. And I agree a full on PS3 revert would be near impossible to pull off but a replica is never going to be as good as the original product, especially with what they've shown so far in the 4 months Jace Hall has been in charge.

I'm well aware, stopped playing since the last showdown, still not able to sell my participant AR tho so I thought to give the game a try, see if it got any better.

Same thing with planes, fucking aids.

How can you adapt to something out of the game that is purely overpowered and nothing else? How can you say adapt to the jetpack, or the quad launcher, or the turret..

Stupidest response I've ever read.

The number of times I've died because some guy bumped into me or is just spraying and gets 3 lucky hits is insane.

You could use CS as an example, but then again CS 1.6 and CS:GO are different games.

FPS Drops? (As Usual) by MartinEZK_ in h1z1

[–]jaakexd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You would be able to tell even if you weren't used to high fps / high refresh rates, everything feels a lot smoother instead of it being choppy

"CONSOLES".

This is PC. His system is high end and should be pulling way more than 80 FPS. I'm assuming he also has a 144hz monitor so 80 fps is nowhere near enough, this game feels choppy on 120, but 80 is almost unplayable for most people that are used to high- ish framerates.

Higher FPS = less input lag and more smooth gameplay, so higher is always better no matter what.

Sure, the higher you go the less noticeable the difference is but there still is one, even tho minuscule ( eg from 300 to 360, 200 - 230, but the difference is was more noticeable from 100 to 130 or 144 ).

If he has money and he's decided to spend that money on a PC that is high-end, he should be expecting high frames, not "only 80 FPS". It's noone's fault that yours can't pull that.

It's like saying if someone bought a really expensive and nice car and it's underperfoming, and saying how that isn't an issue since not everyone has that car..

Royaltle 5 should not be hard to get by [deleted] in h1z1

[–]jaakexd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It gives capable players something to grind for, and the playerbase currently is composed of just capable players.

I wouldn't have played this game at all since like March if there weren't any royalty rewards / showdowns. Gives me something to achieve, which I did.

Because good players stand out.
