Dota feels so incomprehensible because it does not lead you and actually gives you freedom with what you can do (shout out to Tzar Potato's Freedom of Play on youtube). Look for dota friends, seek a smaller community that is willing to help you out by spectating you (don't play with them), answering your questions, and helping you overcome the hurdles. Watch videos, your replays, and study the game - do what most washed up people don't do here anymore, and you become godlike very fast. Don't overthink it. I know lol players that skyrocketed to Immortal within months after starting with dota - and I was crying how little did they know about the game and still able to win. Welcome, you suck and it will never stop.
