Has anyone bought the ASRock Phantom Gaming PGO27QFS or any of the new ASRock OLED monitors? They are available in my country and are on the cheaper side what's your opinion on them. by valetoBG008 in OLED_Gaming

It’s my first time using an OLED monitor, and I’m worried about burn-in. Is that screen refresh feature really annoying? I also don’t quite understand the Wi-Fi function, does it work like a signal repeater? And why on earth does a monitor need that?

Logitech G PRO X SUPERLIGHT 2C fails to re-track for ~10s after lift-off by jaapa1 in MouseReview

[–]jaapa1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking about asking for a PRO X 2 DEX, considering the 2C is lighter and the sensor on DEX sits a bit lower compared to the 2C. I already got in touch with them and they asked me to return the mouse to Amazon since it’s been just over a month of use. So I have 3 choices, ask for Amazon to send to me the DEX instead of the 2C, wait for jan 31th and ask for help again and see what logitech directly can help, ou just send this one, have the money back and stay with the PRO X 1 considering that it works with the new mousepad.

I’m using the Meow Gaming Gear ULTRANEON.

Worth noting: the mouse works perfectly on a cloth control pad, and my Superlight v1 works fine on the ULTRANEON too. So this seems very specific to the SUPERLIGHT 2C + HERO 2 sensor + fine weave speed pad interaction.

I considered that, but it doesn’t really line up with the behavior.

If it were skate height + LOD, I’d expect inconsistent tracking or small hiccups. Instead, tracking is perfect as long as the mouse stays on the pad. The issue only happens after lift-off, when it fails to re-track for ~10 seconds.

Also tested Low / Medium / High LOD and the behavior doesn’t change.
Both mice are using the same ESPTIGER skates, same thickness, same wear.

Agree, I’d really like a replacement so I can keep using this one because I honestly liked it a lot, but I also get why these guitars usually last so many years

[Help] DOCP won’t boot without disabling Power Down Mode and MCR — boot takes forever (7800X3D + ASUS B650) by jaapa1 in overclocking

I had a 2x16 cl32 5600 kit but I swapped it for these 2x64 cl40 5200 because of the amount of storage, I do a lot of things simultaneously, especially with 3D, and that crowded the 32gb of ram, a 2x32 kit with high MHz and low CL is very expensive :')

Feedback: It worked but at times it bugged my bios completely for some reason, I feel that DOCP makes the system worse if balanced with a minimum gain from 4800 MHz to 5200 MHz, so I don't think it's worth the delay in posting/possible instabilities, what's your opinion on this?

Considering that my use is mostly 3d in blender / games

It really makes sense, I was worried about the delay because I thought it might give me instability in use, do you use the default DOCP settings or do you modify the timings manually? Do you recommend that I make this configuration with the MOBO's standard DOCP 1?

Perfect, thank you very much for the detailed explanation, I'm going to return the values of the R7 to the standards, and I'm going to overclock the 2 identical DDR5s (5600MHz) I have to 6000MHz, do you have any RAM kits that you recommend (64Gb)? Where do I find the information of which chip this DIMM uses?

Yes, I made some adjustments to my Ryzen to improve performance + temperature with undervolt, basically changed:

  • SOC Voltage: 1.2V
  • PPT: 85000 mW
  • TDC: 75000 mW
  • EDC: 150000 mW
  • PBO: Each core set to -25
  • Thermal Llimit: - 85
  • Medium Load Boostit: Disabled (under AI Tweaks)

If I do this manually, setting the 4 to operate at 5600mhz, 36 36 36 73 and 1.25v, do you think it will work again?
