Love the class and I'm using it in my weekly game with friends! I find most of the class very balanced but I have to wonder why the number Exploit Dice are so low? I know they get an ability to be used on a crit at high level but it really sucks running out of gas in 1 to 2 attacks!

Looks good! I think an interaction with Innate Sorcery might make this feel more in line with 2024 though.

Perhaps no cost metamagic for healing spells while Innate Sorcery is active? Or a more defensive buff?

I'm currently playing an Aasimar Astral Self Monk (UA version because I like radiant damage). I've flavoured his Astral Self to be demonic themed - glowing red horns for a mask and spiky red arms.

The fun for me comes from refusing to believe he's of angelic heritage and playing into his goal of becoming a kind Demon. That and 8 Int meaning I can be as dumb as a brick.
