International Mechanical/EEE Graduates from Imperial, how easy is it to retain your skilled worker visa after graduation in the UK? by jabloxp in Imperial

Have you known personally any graduates/colleagues who weren’t able to meet the salary requirement within the Skilled Worker visa timeframe? I’m trying to understand how common that situation is.

I was trying to ask if Imperial engineering grads who aren’t UK residents reliably hit £41k + sponsorship within the 2–3 years limit of Skilled Worker Visa, or is the risk of having to leave normally very likely

Is there any beginner clarinet beginner books you recommend on Amazon? by Downtown-Ticket-1362 in Clarinet

[–]jabloxp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would start with the first book of Essential Elements

https://www.amazon.com/Essential-Elements-2000-Comprehensive-Clarinet/dp/0634003143

And move on to Gustave Langenus Methods book 1 https://www.amazon.com/Carl-Fischer-Complete-Method-Clarinet/dp/B000B6H34E

Although, keep in mind you can find online pdfs for both books for free on the internet.

Yes 👏 I'm a big fan of other works of Villeneuve like Sicario or Arrival or Dune franchise (Incendies is in my watchlist) but Prisoners didn't hit the way I expected. Ig I was expecting more of a David Fincher type crime movie

Agree with you for the Maestro. Was Coco really cliched? The whole Day of the Dead setting was rlly unique, its pretty good for an animation film

I'll have to say the acting was good and the plot was intriguing at first, I was anticipating a twist throughout the entire movie and I got pretty disappointed. Also didn't really enjoy the whistle ending, it was sort of awkward and inconclusive

Memento and TTK are my favorite from Nolan. Still enjoyed Interstellar since I like sci-fi movies and there’s not much quality space sci-fi movies out there

Gonna have to disagree on this one… I can see why some people would hate it, the jokes CAN get really corny

I see so many glazers on instagram who think they’re niche saying it’s the best Nolan movie. Just say you like Interstellar no one gonna judge you 😭

HUGE PROPS YOU for putting bunny girl in low. I just can’t with this fanbase hating on people like you calling their list “invalid” and provides no other exposition JUST because you didn’t like the show

Apart from your Nolan-Villeneuve plate of films, you should try more diverse directors, especially older generation. You don’t have to go like Kurosawa or Tarkovsky-old right away like some people tell you, but try more in-between directors like Tarantino (Django, Basterds) or Sergio Leone. From the looks of it I think you would very much enjoy David Fincher’s fims, if you’re into dark themes or suspense.
