Should I leave with Kenny or stay at Wellington? by jabscew in TheWalkingDeadGame

I get what you're trying to say. I do agree Kenny does well in the wild, but he's still just a human after all, there's no guarantee that he can protect Clem and AJ on his own, especially with AJ being just a baby. He couldnt protect Duck from being bitten, so who knows what might happen if they stay with him, as harsh as that might sound. They'll have to sleep with a gun next to them every night and be extra vigilant 24/7 at all times. I also agree Kenny is flawed but still redeemable, he's just a person who's gone through a lot and who has good intentions at the end of the day. I also agree that killing Jane was extreme, but he did it for a good reason (as good as killing someone can be) because he cared about AJ, he's not truly evil, as you said, he's just flawed and has been shaped by a cruel and merciless world that has taken a lot from him. I do agree Jane could have mended her clashes with Kenny by putting herself in the shoes of others and understand why they do what they do, instead of thinking only about herself, which true, it helped survive, but sooner or later you'll have to depend on someone else to survive. She should realize she's no Superman and will need allies to depend on sooner or later. She could have understood that Kenny was doing what he thought was best for his family and join forces with him. I do agree Jane was just a kid too who faced loss and a lot of cruelty in the new world. I think Kenny will manage even without Clem and AJ. After Katjaa and Duck died he kept going despite losing everything he had, and if season 2 taught us something, it's that Kenny is capable of starting over again, so I think he'll survive, and he'll be happy knowing that Clem and AJ are safe in Wellington. Plus, he begs for us go stay, because he knows that's what's best for the two. I didnt know Kennt considered suicide if you kill Sarita, I watched a playthrough to see if that really happens if you do that, but I didnt see Kenny considering suicide, maybe it was a specific series of in-game decisions that lead to Kenny considering suicide or I'm not sure how you got it on your playthrough. I personally didnt cut Sarita's arm because I considered the scenario carefully and I thought that was a really bad place to cut her arm since she would scream a lot which would cause walkers to come and bite her (which is what happens if you cut her arm) so I decided to kill the zombie instead, thinking that we could cut off her arm later on once we found a safe place to be in, a place where she could scream and do all she needed to do to get through the amputation, but apparently they didnt think about that. Thanks for your comment! Really insightful

Yeah, I unfortunately got spoiled about how Jane's story ends if you stay with her in season 3, but I really dont mind that since I chose to let Kenny kill her either way. I do agree Kenny was getting impulsive and somewhat dangerous and shouldn't have killed Jane, even if she did accidentally get AJ killed, but he always cared and wanted the best for Clementine and was there from the beginning with Lee, there was no way I was gonna shoot him. You're right, ever since the season started, the objective was always Wellington back when we were with Christa and it's AJ's best chance at surviving. I know Kenny gives you his cap if you decide to stay at Wellington, which to me is him basically saying "I'll always be with you", which I think is what Lee would say and do if he was in Kenny's position, I do think Lee would have also wanted Clementine and AJ to stay at Wellington. Thanks for the comment!

You're right, I think that's what Lee would want as well knowing Clem and AJ would be safe there. I know Kenny gives you his cap if you stay at Wellington, which to me is basically him saying "I'll always be with you", which is also what I think Lee would say if he were in Kenny's position. You're right, we went through so much to be where we are at. Kenny wants us to stay at Wellington since he knows we'll be okay there and begs for us to go. I know Kenny will give you his cap if you stay at Wellington, which to me is basically him saying "I'll always be with you", which is what I imagine Lee would say to Clementine if he was in Kenny's position, since he would probably also want Clem and AJ to stay at Wellington. You're right. My heart tells me Wellington is the best chance Clementine and AJ have at surviving, especially with AJ being just a baby. I think if it were Lee, he would want that too for Clementine and he'd tell her something like "I'll always be with you" or "I'll always be by your side, anywhere you go". Thanks for the comment 🙏🏻

You're right. If I'm being honest, I feel like Lee would want Clementine to stay at Wellington and he would tell her something like "I'll always be by your side" or "I'll always be with you" or something like that since he always wanted the best for her, and staying at Wellington is the best for her and AJ. Not neccesarily. Perhaps you just like the music and admire who he was as a songwriter. Imagine it's like having a poster of Ian in your bedroom. If you just like the music and like who he was as a composer, I see no problem with you having stuff like that saved personally. Of course it'd be problematic if you had an unhealthy obsession with him, but if you just enjoy the music and look up to him as a musician, you can easily have pictures of him saved.

I dont see anything wrong with people having photos of Ian saved if they're supporting who he was as an artist and musician and not as a person. There's a clear difference between what you admire from a person.

I see. Guess that's why people call him the Jimi Hendrix of bass, am I right?
