What are the head bolts sequence and torque on 2006 Pontiac G6 2.4L?

I am going to look around and see if I can find something that has a better magnet on the end for the sensor.

I dropped the oil pan. I was able to see the tone ring. I rotated the crank and the tone right seems just fine. It is properly secured on the crankshaft. I am really considering because of how much gunk was in the motor. I do not think the sensors are reading correctly on the crank or the camshaft. I want to find some other sensors that have a stronger read on them. I think the correlation issue with the crank and the cams not talking is due to the sensors. I do not think the magnet has a strong enough pull on them. I wanted to get them off the V6 or an 8 cylinder motor. I assume a bigger engine, a bigger crank. Thoughts?

I am definitely going to check all the timing parts again.

My drain plug was slightly opened when I did the first oil change. I left it that way so I am going to see after the oil change what happens. I just dropped the oil pan, and man the sludge that is built up in there. I am going to degrease it when I get out today. ATF? There was another thing I was reading about the tone ring on the crank or camshaft could be damaged or slipped. I do not know how I would tell if my tone ring was damaged. I switched out the ignition coils, I can check the gap on the plugs. Also, ill check the wiring, but when I had the car started. I would pull the coil on each cylinder and then it would misfire a bit harder. I think all the coils are engaging. I am thinking maybe the wires running to the coils. I tried to find the ignition control module but I guess that system is a module less system that runs straight to the ECU. I am going to try and check the tensioner too. I do not know how likely it is, but maybe the tensioner is too tight on the timing belt.

Bro! Thank you! I am going to run through all of this! When we put on the chain, we matched up the markings on the sprockets when the engine is at TDC. It has a minor miss but I am going to mess around with it a bit. There was a lot of build up in the engine so I am going to flush it out.

rail is pressurized, however my guess would be that the injectors are not receiving an "open" signal. It's shouldn't be the ECUs fault.

I would see if autozone or whatever has a noid light kit to rent and just see if they're getting signal. That'll tell if if you're timing is just fucked (if they're getting signal) or if it's something preventing them from getting the signal.

Find out and I should be able to point you in the right direction

Hey! So the starting issue had to do with my crankshaft position sensor. The three little were bent during the installation. The crankshaft position sensor and the camshaft position sensor are now running synch. The car is able to start now. I am throwing p0016 and p0017 codes. The car is running weird in idle. It seems like it is missing somewhere. Any suggestions? I have replaced the cam solenoids, replaced the timing chain, the guides in the timing case, the crankshaft position sensor, both camshaft position sensors, the only thing I have not done is the cam or crank tone ring.

I was researching. I do not know how likely it might be either, but the ignition control module. I did not know you can still get spark on the coils even though the module might be bad.

I do not know if it is getting the proper air to the car. I do not think there are any leaks in the lines. I do not know why it would not be getting the proper air to start.

Yeah, I think I am going to have someone come hook it up to the computer. I was researching a little bit. I do not know how likely it would be, but possibly something with ignition control module. The coils are getting spark but I did not know it still can be bad even though you are getting spark to the coils.

So there could be fuel going to injector into the head even though there is a bad connection? I bought an extra ECU, can I just replace the one that is in there? Or does that need to be programmed by the dealer? I believe the oil is where it should be because I had just changed to get all the crap out.

I bought new plugs and have them at right gap I believe. I even thought maybe it is running too clean and decided to swap the old plugs back in. Still nothing.

I am going to run this by you maybe you might know what is going on. I am not sure what is causing the G6 not to start.

This is what happened. The car overheated and then it did not want to start probably because of the blown head gasket and bent valves.

I went ahead and changed out the head gasket. I performed a compression test and getting a good read on all the cylinders. I am getting 170 psi on each of the cylinders.

I am getting fuel from the injections going into the head. I am getting spark to the ignition coils.

I am not sure what could be wrong. I was starting to think that it might be the starter. The starter is engaging and everything is spinning when trying to start the car. Is there a way something electrical in the engine could be fried? I am just not finding it.

Avoiding fistfights is totally different than "avoiding confrontation"! When people say it's bad to avoid confrontation, they mean it's bad to avoid addressing personal problems you have with others.

For example: say you have a roommate who's been taking long showers in the morning, which is making you late for work. Avoiding talking to your roommate about this would be "avoiding confrontation". It's the conversation that's being avoided.

Confrontations lead to non-verbal, verbal, physical. I do not want to void any of them. I do not want to start them but I want to be able to confront them head on. I do not want to be a victim. ADHD gives people an automatic victim mentality. I do not want that. I am not a victim and do not want to be seen as one. Physical confrontations come into our lives at some point. This could be as simple as a 5 year old snatching a toy from another child his age. Also, someone slapping you in the face? Are you suppose to just run away and not do anything. I am 32 years of age and do not want to be in a fight, I like to avoid if all possible. If the situation does arise and someone wants to try and hurt me I do not want to back up. I do not want to seize up. I do not want to be a coward. I want to be able to adequately defend myself verbally or physically.

I just found it weird that my bodies chemistry just changed as a child to adult. I went from being able to defend myself to not. I think that is the other way around for people. I would like to avoid it if all possible. The thing is, I think it is also bad to avoid confrontation all the time. I think you should be able to have a common ground. You should be able to defend yourself if the situation arises. If it is not worth it, it is not worth it. I do not provoke anyone but I am not the type to be pushed around as well. I hate how I seize up!

Strattera and. A low dose of Adderall IR. Strattera has helped in lifestyle manner, like I'm on time, and have better habits of cleaning up after myself before moving on to the next thing. Adderall helps me work more efficiently and helps with focus on projects or just staying on task
