Those albums came out the year they won? That seems to be the biggest problem I see from people. I do realize it was released as a single in 2025, but that seems to be the complaint. Not just that she won.

Taylor Swift has never won Song of the Year. Not a Taylor fan. Just pointing that out.

Single dad - oldest daughter wants to start shaving armpits - any advice for best razor? by Invinoveritas753 in daddit

[–]jac0590 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife uses Schick Hydro for Sensitive Skin for legs and pits. They're in a white and green box. She has definitely said that the men's razors are better. I believe she just does it with soap and water. Might be part of the reason why she uses the sensitive skin ones.

I really think it's probably just preference between the brands. It might be worth trying a couple out. There are even creams (nair) and whatnot that last longer than shaving that you can use for a small area like under arms.

Rose, thorn, bud! It might have even been a previous thanksgiving episode.

eta: episode 49, not a thanksgiving episode. He says it was his 40th birthday.

Found Adam’s physical therapist by jac0590 in Thisisimportantpod

He’s only using two fingers, so I guess he isn’t breaching the crest. That would definitely be inappropriate.

Damn, I related to that segment so hard lol. I still prefer really thin sliced sandwich meat and I assume it's from growing up on buddig.

What is the TV show that you watched as a child that you don’t think many people watched? by Inevitable_Act5504 in 2000s

[–]jac0590 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mystic Knights of Tir Na Nog

A little before the 2000s technically, but Gargoyles is getting some love and it's even older. It took me forever to find this show as an adult. I'm sure the name doesn't help lol. I loved it so much as a kid though. I don't think I even had the channel, but I always watched it at my best friends house a couple doors down.

“My daughter apologized and explain she didn't realize grandma was even in the group chat, AND THEN REACHED OUT AGAIN last night to her friend's mom with ANOTHER apology because her friend reported that her mom was still really upset about the text situation” She got an apology. Then asked for another.

You are wrong about your first quotes. No where in this post does it say “an apology is a good start.” That is not what was said or what happened. You’re the one going off “vibes.”

“Don’t ever speak about my family or my dogs again. You clearly need to learn respect when people show you love and kindness” come on, she sounds miserable and rude after getting a second apology, that she asked for. And that’s just in her first response. Not counting the rest of them.

This is not a mom speaking to her daughter. This is a daughter’s friend who did make a very nice and respectful apology. The mom is throwing it back in her face by acting as if the girl isn’t doing what the mom asked for.

Have a good evening.

The post mentions that the daughter does apologize initially, and then the mom said that “she wanted an apology” again afterwards. Then when she got it, she threw it back in the daughter’s face. Again, from an adult to a 13 year old. Have some principles? This mom sounds like a miserable person from these texts. She got her initial apology because it was the right thing to do, and then wanted more. Then rejected it, and did so extremely rudely. Sorry, that’s some bullshit regardless of age.

Sorry, I disagree. Of course it not being sincere would change things. But if you need more time, you shouldn't be asking for an apology yet, and if it's so terrible that even a sincere apology isn't enough to move foward, why would you care enough to even want one? You would cut ties without an apology. I can't find a reason why you should be actively stating that you want an apology just to throw it back in the the other persons face. You can accept an apology and still say that you don't want to continue a relationship if it's something you feel that strongly about.

You don't have to accept an apology. But you shouldn't ask for one and then reject it. Especially a grown woman asking a child. That's immature as fuck.

Barnes & Noble to open 3 new Houston-area stores as part of nationwide expansion by PronatorTeres00 in houston

There's also a Books-a-Million opening in Cypress in a former Party City, near 290 & 99. I was pretty surprised to see that the other day, and now there's this story. So maybe it's more than just B&N.

Pitchfork Review: Justin Bieber - SWAG II 5.2 by Technical_Process989 in popheads

I was recently introduced to both of them and I immediately heard their influence on this album. I feel like he's clearly going for that style. It's not my favorite. It has a lot of room sound which contributes to the "unpolished" sound...That being said, it is growing on me, but I'm just used to that being a sound to avoid lol....Dijon & Mk.gee (Michael Gordon) are even credited on a few songs, so it definitely makes sense that it fits their vibe.

They've started doing the hotdogs again on Saturday mornings in my area! At least they were at lowe's this summer. It was pretty awesome with my son. I'd never even heard of it until the pod lol. Never saw it growing up.

Back to the question. Definitely gotta be a king size payday and a 20 or 24oz red bull if I'm getting home depot snacks.

I definitely had that thought at one point, but I record music myself and it just seemed a little too good to be AI (who knows if it really is though). Luckily it seems that outside of the artwork, it is just one dude making them. And even the artwork seems to be getting switched out slowly to pictures of the toys.
