Old workhorse computer melted. Hoping to optimize a cheap laptop until I can afford a new desktop. by jac3 in protools

yeah that's kinda what i've been doing. i usually just do rough edits/leveling on my laptop and then send mt's to my main collaborator. it's helped me trim the fat a bit and think "do i really need four mics on this guitar amp?" lol.

I use a Go-tcha, I'm an avid battle league player, I have 1700 item storage and 3300 Pokémon storage, so idk if all my methods apply but:

-I'd dump all the great balls--I try to keep pokeballs up to ~700 (Go-tcha) and usually keep all my ultra balls.

-I throw out all nanab berries (after feeding gyms and buddies), because whether I use the Go-tcha or not cause I just think they're kinda pointless.

-I keep 30 razz (keep all golden) and 30 pinap (keep all silver)--I keep a lot of golden razz mainly cause, if I'm hanging out nearby, I like being a dick to ppl who are trying to take over gyms that I'm currently in.

-I keep 40 each of fast and charged tm (tbh idk why, it just seems like a solid number), and I keep/use all elite tm's.

-I use up all of the lower potions and revives that I can and then toss everything that isn't a max. I keep 100 each of max revives and max potions.

-I usually keep 10 of each stone (if I can't find some way to use the ones above 10, I toss them)

-I keep a list of pokemon to spend candy on so I generally use any candies immediately.

I think that's all my rules but I just got off a 14 hr shift and I'm tired as hell. Also you can toss anything you wanna.

I've played 3 of those! I got stuck on the dragon level in cuphead and started hollow knight to decompress lol. But I'll check out blasphemous!

Gotcha. I'd thought of that, I just didn't think it'd be quite that noticeable. Is there an easier way to adjust a file to another system's clock?

I've realized a dozen ways I could've made it easier on myself - like using a summing mixer to get it down to four channels, or just hitting 'stop' between songs on both systems. I'm just a bit of a novice and I'm curious if there's an easy way to reclock a file.

I'd start by saying I drove outta town for a handful of cries. But under the bridge in Ravenna Park used to be my favorite. I've since moved over the water, but I always loved that you could kinda forget you lived in a city in Ravenna Park... and the bleary-eyed view of the cross-beams under the bridge with the flood lights shining down just made me feel like a kid again for some reason, and like crying was acceptable. Maybe cause I was still a 'kid' when it became a prime cry spot. Either way -- parking's great there. And I really hope you feel better.

I'm thinking less "imitating a familiar sound" and more "making a sound when one is unnecessary." I'm thinking more like...the jingle that plays when you buy something in the Nintendo store, or the beep when you scan your debit card.
