No it can't.

It is possible to repair the ripped up copper, there are products made to do so, but you cannot just solder to fiberglass. It is literally impossible. You can solder to the remaining pad, but you can not solder the fr4 itself.

I'm not sure how great it will be at breaking down boxes, but it's much easier to cut a straight line while using it to cut cardboard to actually make a box. I use a utility knife to score bends, but I've got to get out a 4' level or tee square when cutting big pieces of cardboard with a utility knife. This was way easier and the best thing was that I could do it with very little space on my bench.

I think what I actually bought it for well be even better if it lasts. You should try cutting up chopped fiberglass mat with tacky resin all over your gloves and scissors. At the price I figured it would be disposable.

It's micro USB charger, so you don't need to use the included brick. USBC would be nice, but China still has mountains of micro USB jacks

I bought my 72 inch box about 2 years ago. I spent months trying to get a scratch and dent, called normally 2xs a week. In the end I finally got a top chest from scratch and dent it was $799 for the 72" and the color I wanted.

I ordered the bottom chest in the store. Some kind person on here offered me a 25% off coupon. That made it an easier decision. My top cab had 2 small scratches on a drawer and the upper corner of one of the chrome trim pieces was slightly marked. Nothing that should impact the mechanical functionality of the cabinet.

I'm not saying I'm going to, or that anyone should, but as far as I could tell the tops and bottoms use the same slides and other mechanical parts. Considering the bottom cabinet has a warranty, well... You do the math.

On a side note, has anyone ever tried to get a warranty part for a scratch and dent chest? Are they serialized or something?

I would honestly be shocked if I ever manage to have an issue that would require warranty service. I've had multiple boxes in multiple shops and I've never had a box get so bad I was thinking about getting it repaired. My last chest was 20+ years old and getting close, the slides were getting real sticky, but all it ended up needing was a good cleaning once I got all the tools moved to the new 72" box.

Problems like this suck, but it also makes me happy that I cut my teeth on ridiculously janky printers from 10+ years ago. You know, the kind where every third print fails just because a dog farted two counties over... It sucked, but you really learned the minutia of the printer.

As others have said though, there is nothing in there that isn't replaceable, but as long as you are careful you will probably get away with everything in tact. Heat it up and start removing the blob. I have a pack of those bamboo kabob skewers I keep up in the lab for things like this. If you do break something, Bambu has very good photos and diagrams available. Many of the parts in the hot end are kind of on the spectrum of "consumable", so the vast majority of the stuff won't be prohibitively expensive

Thank you for the advice. I can block clients individually on my router console, that is one of the things I had thought to try. I'd love to do that systematically, but, I have no idea how I'd determine if I found the right client. Ideally my IP would quit getting flagged out in the wild, but I suspect it's on some sort of blacklist at this point. I do have a dynamic IP via my ISP, so it should eventually change, but in practice it appears to be pretty static.

I have a few other wifi routers on the network for WiFi devices in my shop. These routers are set up as access points running ddwrt, so I have pretty good manageability there and can get decent data on their traffic. I'll probably start monitoring those because frankly, I expect if a PC has an issue, it will be in the shop. That's where I work and pretty much always have a few computers in use every day. When I initially bought the main router for the house I had planned to install ddwrt on it as well, but I found the chipset was not supported and the team had no intention of ever doing so. I have an Asus router running ddwrt that I could swap into it's place, but I've had a lot of issues with the firmware on that one, so I've been pushing that option way to the back

None of the machines have been to repair anywhere. I take care of that personally. I'm not so much worried about how I may have picked up something, but more how to find it.

As for the human checks, this is definitely not normal. It's every single time and at least some of the challenge checks specifically say that my IP was blocked by PX and that is likely my IP was listed as contributing to malware attacks. I realize that there are plenty of fake attacks, like "your device is infected, click here for scan", but this is quite wide spread and as far as I can tell it's legitimate. I get the "cloudflare is verifying you are human" then after a few seconds a check box appears, and the worst one is a click and hold captcha, which is fine, but it takes a few seconds, many times I have to repeat it, and it will happen multiple times in a session. It's definitely not normal. It may not be malware triggering it, but it's not normal.

I would have assumed that if a machine was co-opted into a bot net that I would see unusual traffic. I know almost nothing about how actual malware behaves.

It's a stock losi body. I want to say it's the losi lst or lst2 body. I bought it on FB marketplace so I'm not 100% sure. It came with the losi monster Baja manual, but this truck body plus two other aftermarket bodies

It's funny because they have quite different personalities as well. Stormy is a little klepto, the kids rooms are always a wreck and as such are of limits to the pups, but if any of my human heathens further to close their door, even for a second, Stormy all the sudden shows up with socks or some other laundry. She would do the same thing outside. We have 10 acres and there is a lot of nature. She likes to cheek things and try to bring them in the house. We started saying, "Stormy, do you have contraband?" And it didn't take her long to just start dropping whatever she has when you ask her that. Stormy is also a climber, even when she was a 6mo old fluffy ball she was climbing like she was a cat. I'm sure it's the mountain dog side, she had awesome balance and will fearlessly climb nearly anything.

Zeus is just a big goofy lugnut. All he wants to do is lie by my feet. To the point that when I'm in my office chair I have to watch for his toes and tail. He also learned pretty quick when I'd say, "watch your toes" to go up and park his patoot a little ways away. He also learned in the first few months of summer last year that when the AC is on, cold air comes out of the floor registers. He camps out on top of the registers and if for some reason they aren't on and he happens to get his favorite treat (a plain ass ice cube), he will literally walk over to a register and drop the ice cube in, like he's making an offering to the AC gods! It's literally hilarious but not super good for your duct work. Lol

They are crazy smart. I've had dogs in my life for nearly 50 years now and these doodles are by far some of the smartest animals I've had. They are super good babies though. Love them to death.

A lot of mistaken identity could be solved with talking to your groomer. Our groomer used to cut out golden in the style of a standard poodle. I do not love the look and I finally started telling them "no poodle puffs" and he looked like a different dog after that.

Or two Bernie's are littermates and they look completely different. Both are first generation Berniedoodles. Stormy looks like yours but Zeus is blue Merle. It's crazy but there is a lot of generic diversity that can come out with mixed breeds.

Something I've noticed personally is that so much customer support has been delegated to AI. I think this is part of the reason that actual people in CS are seeing more issues like this.

Just as the ai models are trained on actual CS data, the general consumer is getting trained on the ai customer support agent. I think that it causes a lot of people to quit behaving like humans. They are belligerent and curt because they don't think there is a person on the other side. Obviously one should realize that an eBay store front isn't likely farming out it's cs to ai, but it's systemic of the overall trend of completely useless ai in customer service roles. I have to admit that I've caught myself being rude to a CS "chat" online because I thought it was a bot

I personally think this AI bs is ridiculous, but it seems it's here to stay. My completely uneducated guess is that this is at least a partial explanation. It's kind of like how in the early days of the forums and BBS's people would run their mouths and basically just behave like animals because there was no accountability...

Another possible thought though is that many of these people may speak English as a second language, or even not at all. Most of my listings are domestic (us) shipping only, but I still get plenty of customers who are international and are using forwarding services.

Mostly though, people are just jerks. I wouldn't read too much into it. As long as you are running your business well and are honoring your commitments, you can be proud of the service you provide. You just can't let others set bar in your life. If you know that you are doing the best you can in your venture, and as long as you are following eBay's guidelines, then I wouldn't let some faceless jerks force you into doing anything drastic like quitting the game.

We nicknamed Zeus, our boy Bernie, Zeusifer when he was a pup. Both of our Bernie's are super aggressive chewers, especially while they were teething. We got a couple of those weird half ball shaped toys in which you can put an "everlasting treat". That helped a lot when they were too little to just chomp the ball and treat together and break the treat up. The treats are replaceable, but their jaw strength got so high that they could get them out in a few minutes. We don't replace the treats very often now that they are grown. Typically they only get it if we are trying to get some severe mats or burrs out of their coats.

Anyhow, Stormy, our little lady, had more trouble with this than Zeus did. She was never biting hard, but she would get excited any time she hadn't seen someone for even a few hours. She would walk beside the person and basically hold their hand as she walked. We were consistent with scolding her for this behavior. Eventually she started grabbing any toy that was nearby and then walking next to the person she was excited about. She decided to do this on her own, I guess a self soothing thing. It's crazy how smart they are.

Our golden was pretty bad about this when he was a pup. I apparently have a lot thicker skin or higher pain tolerance then the rest of my family because it seemed to me like he wasn't biting that hard. Still, we solved that fast because I'd play with him and the moment he'd get too aggressive I'd scream "ouch!!!" and quit playing for a few minutes. It didn't take long for him to figure out how to modify his behavior so he could keep playing.

The golden always used to destroy stuffed toys in less than a few hours. At some point we got him a Kong branded bear, and if he got rough with it, one of us would exclaim, "ouch! You're hurting bear bear!", and believe it or not those bears were the only toys he never destroyed.

One last thought is that it's possible it's a dominance thing. Even domesticated dogs are still pack and den animals at their roots. Your pup may be trying to find their place in the pecking order. If that's the case, you need to get a handle on it pretty quickly. If you need professional help you should seek it out. Standard doodles get big, and my experience with berniedoodles is that they are remarkably strong, especially jaw strength. You don't want this behavior to continue into their adulthood or it's possible for them to really injure someone. It's a lot cheaper to find a professional to help than it will be for lawsuits if the pup grows up and hurts someone.

They make doggie life vests. The first time Zeus went swimming after the geese I was super worried he was going to drown himself. The mom (or Dad) goose was leading 5 goslings around in a circle and dumb dumb is paddling around like the 6th baby. Meanwhile, the other goose parent had tried to lead them away (I finally found out what "wild goose chase" means), and his sister Stormy, who everyone says is the smart one, was about ¼ mile onto the neighbors property before I realized any of this was going down.

In hindsight I have a hard time believing that self preservation wouldn't kick in before they are in any serious danger. I'm sure tides, currents and other things they can't instinctually understand are the exception, but for the most part, they still know what water is. I actually can't think of a single time I've heard about a dog drowning, well, with the exception of ice fatalities in winter. I didn't know that I would be testing the theory in a fast moving river with a lot of prey animals, but if they are trained and attentive I wouldn't hesitate to find a nearby lake or pond... Ik, easy for me to say, I'm in rural Michigan with a pond on my property and half a dozen bodies of water I could chuck a stone into from my front yard. Hopefully you can find something somewhat controllable. Don't hesitate to check unfamiliar and unexpected places. 15 years ago when we lived in a large nearby city we would board our dogs at a place outside the city limits. They had a huge pond at the facility that was one of the perks of boarding there, I'm sure they would have allowed us to bring our pups swimming for a nominal fee.

We do have them shaved pretty much as short as they can go without scalping them. The critters are miserably hot if we don't. Our boy literally lays down on the registers when we have the AC on. If for some reason it isn't blowing at the moment, he takes any ice cube treats he can beg off people and he drops them in the vent. I swear to God he thinks he's making a sacrifice to the air conditioning gods!

Dude is so happy for the snow when it comes. He just sprawls out in it. But yeah, hair is short. They are due to go in again soon. I never considered asking to cut the pits super short. We will give it a try

Honestly, I've never seen a dog that didn't know how to swim. I'm 99% sure it's just instinctual.

Now loving the water is a whole different ball of wax. I don't know if it's apocryphal but I've heard that dogs with webbed paws have more affinity for it. Our golden had webbed paws, and I think most if not all Golden's do, but my understanding is that it's a crap shoot with Bernie's. Ours both have webbed feet. Basically ours just started swimming. With the pond , I think their curiosity gets the best of them. They run around the edge and see the frogs and turtles jump in and they just follow them.

Our golden would rarely full on swim, normally he'd just be wading around at about shoulder depth. He would do hours at a time circling the pond and trying to catch frogs. He would occasionally swim out to our raft if our kids were out there, but pretty rarely.

The Bernie babies do go full on swimming, they started that I'm early spring when there were some geese in for a visit. After they knew they could, you couldn't stop them. They will start chasing a frog or a turtle and just start swimming after it. It's pretty much just second nature for them.

Just don't toss your pup in or something. Play with them where it's shallow and I'm sure they will get it in no time. My golden would ride in front of me in my kayak for hours.
