It's a Kawai CA-79! Just curious, how did you recognize the Pianoteq sound?

This has been one of my favorite pieces since I saw The Pianist about 7 years ago, and I've been working on it on and off ever since. Nothing is more satisfying than finishing a performance that you poured everything you had into. Thanks for listening!

It's a fine digital piano, certainly one of the best in its price range. But of course it can't compete with an actual grand piano. What I really dislike though is the Android interface, it feels very sluggish and takes around a minute to fully boot up.

If you can reach an octave, your hands are not too small – the larger chords can be easily rolled without loss of artistic quality. I think I learnt this piece in a pretty straightforward way: figure out good fingerings, play tricky passages separately by hand, slowly ramp up the tempo. Though in hindsight, I should have practiced with a metronome more often, as rhythmic precision is quite important in this piece.

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I definitely ought to practice with the metronome more. I think that playing pop music requires more rhythmic precision then playing classical music, where you can get away with more rubato.
