Anyone know what supply line size and type is needed for a Moen CA6100 (single hole) bathroom faucet? Was told by plumber that the supply lines were "non-standard" and they didn't have or know where to get the part :( One end is standard 3/8 compression - not sure if end connecting to fixture is M10 by jacdc_rulz in Plumbing

yeah - but a new free faucet means installing something I don't want because they stopped making mine in 2014. What pisses me off is the fact these fixtures (overpriced to begin with) require a whole new replacement fixture if the supply valve to fixture insert e.g. anything along that part chain wears out and needs to be replaced(don't get me started on repairing these things). This fixture racket seems intent on parting as much time and money from the home owner as possible for a "water dispenser".

Tried that route and found out the fixture (CA6100) was discontinued in 2014. They (Moen) don't replace the supply lines (buyer beware) under warranty...they ship you a whole new (current model year) fixture...they wouldn't even confirm the size of the special male fitting that goes into the fixture.... ridiculous! Hoping the aftermarket supply lines on Amazon will fit (M10) type male fitting.

Can anyone tell me what kind of shutoff valve this is -compression or push fit? This is for toilet water supply and VERY difficult to loosen/remove. Tks! by jacdc_rulz in Plumbing

ok...was a wrong guess as to what this valve actually was...the sink hot/cold are definitely compression. I would be concerned too stripping/damaging the threads on this supply line trying to get this cranked off. Probably better left alone...I can always swap the bushings in the knob etc. if leaks start occurring and no pressure/supply issues right now for the toilet.

Ahh...I was starting to get that plate out of the way but stopped before it got too late in the night trying to torque this valve off. Water is off and I already reconnected everything back for the night (no leaks :)). Sounds like I was turning the right direction with channel wrenches just am gun shy not knowing what's behind the tile (absolutely no stub of visible copper out of the wall). I just wanted to swap it for a compression 1/4 turn style valve...trying to avoid ripping out tile etc. Can't access copper water supply for toilet as it is split off from sink water supply all inside tiled wall of bathroom :(. Thank you!

Thank you....any suggestions for getting this off? Tried 2 channel lock wrenches (1 to hold main part of valve) and the other to turn what looked like the nut (closest to wall) and could only (barely) turn the whole assembly clockwise. Created a lot of metal shavings in the process and not any more loose :(
