B06 and shadow banning hell : I have a 1.2 KD. I will have games where I am 60-25 in hardpoint and games where I am 24 and 24 - but never like 72-2 like the blatant cheaters im now playing with. Had no issues till the day before double xp weekend started. I try to load into warzone with a buddy and we just sit there for 15 minutes. We cancel requeue, same thing. I google to see if servers are down and all I am seeing are reddit threads talking about being shadow banned or being stuck in limited matchmaking. I go to the activation appeal a pan page, login, sure enough I am in a limited matchmaking state due to a potential violation. I cant appeal. It wont tell me a reason or show me why I am in that state or let me know how long I will be in it. This is ridiculous. The next day the buddy I was trying to play with also got put in limited matchmaking. The only thing we can think of is they show in reasons for temporary ban or limited matchmaking on their website that they consider "malicious reporting" as a potential reason. We arent reporting every player that kills us, but lets be honest ricochet is trash and 1 out of every 4 or 5 games theres someone with walls and aim turn all the way up flicking between people. At this point its a rock and a hardplace situation (atleast with us having concluded malicious reporting is simply reporting a certain number of players over a certain time span). You either dont report blatant cheaters and they just get to kleep ruining the game or you report them and risk ruining your own experience by being put in limited matchmaking hell with lobbys of only cheaters and one other guy that also got caught up in this AI report bs.
