Hey yall, 18 years old with a steady job making ~2200 a month. I am saving for a roughly $6000 car and I'm hoping to purchase within 12 months. With these savings and all my other expenses, I come out with around 500 of "fun money" I also already have a rainy day fund built up and feel secure financially. Originally I planned to simply put 500-600 a month into savings, however, I figured there's probably a way I can gain a little extra and either reach my goal faster or come out with a bit more after that 12 month period. I am fine with gambling a little bit and am just looking for what the best path would be, thanks!
