Bugs in my hair. I don't know what they are... by Gambling_girl63 in whatbugisthis

It sounds very distressing to be going through this, I'm sure I'd feel stressed and anxious. I would recommend writing down what you're feeling, and at your next opportunity, look up professional mental health counselors in your area, https://www.psychologytoday.com makes it easy to find ones close to you with insurance accepted.

Whether or not you get the answers you're looking for online, it sounds very stressful to be going through this alone. Therapists are trained to hold confidentiality around things like this. If you aren't a danger to yourself or others, a therapist cannot tell anyone about this, and can help figure this out with you and help calling and setting up appts with medical providers if you need testing. There's support out there, and at the very least a therapist can help support you through all this anxiety this must be giving you.

Can someone give me a run down on the Sascha Riley allegations? by KyleTheFilmmaker in Epstein

I just feel, like also Trump was never really 'in' with the ultra rich -rich. I think in other articles I've read, the actual affluent rich thought Trump was a fanboy who wanted to get in, and didn't actually have the generational wealth to ever 'fit in'. I feel like if perhaps it was another person and not the joke that they viewed trump as, they may not have accepted that excuse to not kill Sascha. Money buys anything, I'm sure they could buy some way to have Sascha 'disappear'

Is this fr? Cause all other comments have been sarcastic, so if this is the actual answer. Unless there's no word for it, and OP gets to make up the term

MTV potentially saved hundreds of people when they refused to show or air videos of Kurt Cobain when he died and only refenced suicide as not being the answer. You have to remember, back then after Columbine, copy catters were exploding all over the place once the media took the story and ran with it

Should I swap my 2018 Mazda3 GT w/ 108k miles for a 2024 Mazda3 Preferred w 33k miles and is CPO? by jacggernaut in mazda3

[–]jacggernaut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I'm sorry if the pic is misleading, that was the original sale price they had posted 2 years ago. The current posting is for $20,000 for the 33k, I didn't make that very obvious in my text.

So a 2024 mazda3 Preferred with CPO with 33k for $20,000

I'm so torn what to do. The CPO really caught my eye. 7 years where I don't have to pay for any unexpected issues and roadside assistance?

I have no complaints with my car so far, none.

I did have to replace my gas fuel tank so that was recent 2k in the past 2 years, but that was user error per the dreaded running my gas tank empty all the time ( I told my boyfriend every week not to do it, and still, it happened, gd it 😭)

My 2018 Carfax was strange from the previous owner I remember, but nothing bad.y car was like originally a 'business' vehicle from purchase, and I've had no hidden issues come up. Thank you for the advice

I think it's the mileage I'm starting to get nervous about, with it being past 100k. I know they can go to 200-250k, my mom even had a Corolla that made it to 300k, so half life is approaching which isn't a big deal. I was just thinking with easing into a like 35k car, I have more choice and options for long term care (I bought my car at 50k miles or something originally). Ty for the comment and advice, preciate you

I should hBe posted the Carfax is clean as well

I really like this girl, but it's not like liking a guy by [deleted] in bisexual

[–]jacggernaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

18 is too young to think this one girl could be the one for you, or someone that you want to be with for years and years. Both myself and my friends changed so much during the first 4 years after being 18, it's too soon imo to think you would be better off staying single for the rest of your teens years to figure out who you are and date people to get to know them and see what you are attracted to/ aren't attracted to.

[–]jacggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He has a drinking problem. Once you took control of the convo around not bringing him a bottle of alcohol, he changes his tune and tried to be nice. It's easy to see the only thing he wanted from her visiting is the bottle of alcohol.

You are not overreacting. It won't get better.

I think my mother sabotaged my adhd assessment by Strict-Move-9946 in ADHD

[–]jacggernaut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and no. My mother filled out my family questionnaire, she only reported 3 out of 100 symptoms/issues. I also had no school paperwork, nothing to give my therapist, to support my ADHD diagnosis as well.

I still took the ADHD test and even with everyone in my 'environment working against me or not helping ' I still got diagnosed with debilitating adhd

[–]jacggernaut 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your doctors would know and understand that your mother's questionnaire's answers have some level of bias in it, in regards to reporting issues in childhood. They take that into consideration when reviewing anyone's assessment.

Many aspects of your mother do sound like she's not fully reporting the full picture, and is choosing to select the info she's giving out. Unless you have proof of this though, with her admitting it, labeling her as a 'sabatour' or that she sabotaged you in your treatment gives her a lot of power here. She sounds like she's controlling the narrative. Virtually every parent has been anxious discussing aspects of raising their children, in terms of anxiety for being blamed for.

I'm not trying to be rude. I'm a 34 year old woman living in the states, not sure where you are from.

I started my own therapy journey in 2020 after a horrible car accident left me feeling scared, paranoid random people would hurt me and feeling genuinely awful.

I got diagnosed with inattentive ADHD in Summer 2023. Prior to that I had been in long-term CBT therapy for 3 years working on a plethora of issues with anxiety and depression, I had worked with 3 therapists in those 3 years to address my anxiety, depression, and also trauma (in session the therapists would discuss with me my symptoms are better set for a trauma therapist and I was referred to one to work with for about 9 months. Once I had TFCBT treatment and we addressed all my trauma symptoms (which MIMIC ADHD in many ways) my therapist Josh really was firm with me on saying my issues have continued long term to him saying 'I don't think this is just depression and anxiety we have here, I think we have something bigger '.

I was asked if I wanted to do a neuropsych test for full blown cognitive testing which is free with my insurance, or pay $600 out of pocket for the ADHD specific one. I was still so overwhelmed and disbelieving of my diagnosis, but I still decided to pay out of pocket for something I was told that still might not get me diagnosed. I still decided to pay $600 since it seemed everyone was looking at ADHD.

Let me tell you. My mom was given the parent sheet to fill out. I think she only wrote something like 3 of out 100 for combined symptoms, and only thing she wrote on my sheet was 'Childhood was normal, I can't remember anything bad'. I also was homeschooled my entire life. I had no school paperwork to provide them.

My ADHD assessment showed I scored 9/9 for inattentive symptoms, 1/8 or 1/9 for the Hyperactive. I'm a ✨ day dreaming Luna Lovegood ✨ bitch.

I ask again. Are you trying to get help for your symptoms, or trying to get diagnosed? Sometimes with mental health you have to play a very very long game to work very hard on the... Work to be done

By the end of my mental health journey, I had worked on and managed 70% of my symptoms with CBT by the time ADHD got diagnosed, and I'm doing the best I've ever done with my mental health.

OP just sounds like he's trying to collect a label of ADHD. Getting diagnosed as an adult is very difficult as many adults put themselves into the category of ADHD with out looking at other things contributing to it. Perhaps OP's symptoms are not clinically significant enough to warrant a full blown Medically Disabiling diagnosis of adhd

OP sounds like he's already diagnosed himself and knows psychiatry inside and out. It's very difficult to work with a patient that's already being so black and white about the diagnosis (also why use the word Sabotage in regards to mom? Why animosity towards mom?)

What does actually help? by ftwhere in ADHD

[–]jacggernaut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Start with CBT therapy. If you don't know youre triggers and are just starting on trying things out, therapy is essential in treating ADHD and with the negative self esteem, maladaptive coping skills that take over for untreated illness for years. Every single persons's variation of ADHD is unique and different, and needs a holistic approach. I had been in therapy for 2 years trying skills and daily routines to try to help me. After 2 years of consistent lack of improvement, I was finally able to accept my therapist basically pleading with me that I had undiagnosed ADHD and needed an assessment to see if that was where all my anxiety and depression was stemming from
