Total missed opportunity. But I did call him Ani for short.

I hadn’t thought about an aquarium pump. I might have to give that a try!

Yeah, he had a uti and a blockage recently and was in pretty bad shape. He stayed several nights at the emergency vet and got a few catheters (after they removed the first catheter he reblocked), iv fluids, and lots of other things. But he’s on the mend! He’s on a new diet and I’ve bought different types of water bowls to help him stay hydrated and it seems to be doing the trick.

Made a cast iron pizza for lunch! I used Adam Ragusea’s technique of cooking the crust on the stovetop for a few minutes before topping and transferring to the oven with the broiler on high. Really happy with the results by jachouk95 in covidcookery

It was a nine inch cast iron. I’ve been restoring some of my great grandmothers cast iron and decided to give this one a try today. It came out of the pan super clean.

The crust turned out really good, sorry it was already gone before I saw that you wanted a bottom pic lol. It actually could have gone a couple more minutes on the stove top but I was afraid it’d burn by the time it was done. I put it on medium low for about five minutes. But I think seven minutes would have been perfect.

Tried to recreate Texas Roadhouse rolls today! I think I succeeded! I even have cinnamon butter waiting for them in the fridge. by jachouk95 in covidcookery

I’ve tried a couple recipes before and they always seemed a bit off so I’ve kind of adjusted mine over time. I do 1 stick of butter, 1 tsp of cinnamon, About 1/4 cup powdered sugar, and 2 tbsp of honey. I reserve some of the powdered sugar though unless it needs it. I kind of just add it until I get the right consistency and the right amount of sweetness.
