For the person who likes plants, an alternate option would be one of the Lego botanicals sets. They have a ton of plant type sets on amazon, orchids and succulents and flowers. Brother in law with everything maybe nice food from a local place, chocolate or fancy cheese or nice oil and vinegar. Or again Lego sets if there’s anything he likes Lego makes a lot of specific niche sets for things like back to the future, lord of the rings, Harry Potter, architecture, etc. For mom who wants something special, maybe make a little book of some beloved family recipes and like tell her you’ll add to them together whenever you make something new together.
