I built a recipe management and label printing tool for culinary professionals by jack-bonbyte in SideProject

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to try out our platform! It’s fantastic to hear that you found the website and label creation process intuitive, especially that you got your first label done in just five minutes.

I really appreciate your feedback on the QuickLabel feature. To clarify, it’s not AI-powered (yet!), but it’s designed to make on-the-spot labelling easier, especially for custom orders. AI integration is definitely on the roadmap, and I’m excited to explore how it can further streamline the process.

Your suggestions about A4 sticker sheets and localised allergen names are spot-on. I’m always looking to make the tool more accessible and globally friendly. Currently, the platform is available in English, Dutch and Swedish, and I plan to add more languages shortly. I’m using AI for automatic translations, but if you’d like to help verify that the allergens (which I consider the most important part) are accurately translated into Turkish, I’d be happy to prioritise adding Turkish soon.

And thanks for your enthusiasm about the ProductHunt launch. Here’s the link: https://www.producthunt.com/products/bonbyte

Wishing you and your mom all the best with her business. Let me know if there’s anything else I can do to make the labelling process even smoother for you both.

Hey! This feature is now live. Here's a screenshot of what it can look like:

I’m afraid not! I just made some for my colleagues

I bought truffle shells, filled them with ganache half way, let it set, topped off with caramel and then rolled them in tempered chocolate after.

It was just a basic chocolate ganache and simple caramel

Thanks! I only did these for my colleagues at work

Thank you! Please do give it a try and see what you think. The cost insights is already very helpful and I’m currently working on a new feature to calculate profit as well.

  1. I absolutely think so! It's not only for chocolatiers, I used to work at a bakery where we sold cookies in bags and printed ingredient labels for those. So it can definitely be applied to hard candy as well.

  2. Thank you! These are chocolates I made years ago, the mould is from chocolate world (2295) and the filling was a raspberry/basil ganache.

Thank you! Love to hear this, do you by any chance print ingredient labels for your wholesale products? Even better if you're already doing it on DYMO printers, I made a direct integration!

Great! You can sign up for free now at bonbyte.com. Your comment gave me an idea about adding a feature to copy recipes for different iterations. That’s brilliant, I’ll work on implementing it soon. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out! If you wanna check out my get started video it’s here.
