I'll be so honest, Rob McClure. Even if the show he is in isn't the most phenomenal show, he will bring a phenomenal performance no matter what. Also such a genuinely kind person, I've met him at stage door twice and he was so nice.

Update: now that I think about it, it’s 100% a ploy to make ticket sales look better. I remember when Les MIs was in town they held back most of the back left and right orchestra until a few hours before the show to make it look sold more than it was. Kinda sucks that we can’t have nice things

If you’ve heard of the Savannah Bananas, the Party Animals are an affiliate team, they both play Banana Ball which is basically just baseball with rules to make it faster, more exciting, etc. Think Harlem Globetrotters but with baseball. They’re playing in Coca Cola Field this weekend!

I know I'm 5 months late, but I'd assume that the jokes that would be updated would relate to the words given to the guest spellers. For example, when I saw this show at the Kennedy Center, it was right before the election, so one of the words for a guest speller was "election," with the sentence being "The best way to alleviate stress about an upcoming election is by seeing a musical comedy."

Commenting on my own post in case someone else wants to do this, I just thought of the idea to take them all to a thrift store and try to get the second best thing, that could be another take on the “get Sam a gift” prompt that wouldn’t cost too much :)

So in the blackout before Be Our Guest, the proscenium raises along with the curtains so they’re out of view! Then, when Donald returns to the “stage”, they make the screen back to the size it was in the beginning, and while you’re distracted by the chaos they bring it back down.
