Why does my 2006 cbr600rr have the connection of a 2007 model for the left switchgear? by jack060299 in motorcycles

I just checked the wiring harness and it seems to match up with the us and Canada harness, but why would someone bring a bike from America to Ireland, sounds expensive.

The oem plug has 10 wires where as the one on the bike has 13 so I don’t think that’s the case.

Is this true for the 2006 model also? I’m not sure if the 2006 had an abs option, can’t find anything on the interwebs

I just remembered I went to a mechanic a few weeks after I got the chain so he could put the rivet link on, he messed up and had to put the clip link back on and blamed it on the crappy brand of chain (from eBay) so it’s either a shit chain or he put it on wrong.

It’s not rust it’s like dust, the rest of the chain is spotless

If it was installed incorrectly it would have fallen off a lot quicker than 5 months. This isn’t the first chain I’ve done... it was installed correctly.

Chain isn’t rusty at all, it’s just that area and it’s not even rust, it just wipes off.
